Just got back

Just got back from Barcelona and it was great.
Met AndyCh and his pals and a few others I know from other games. Spoke to Midnight Toker on the phone but the mobiles seemed to be * as couldn't text or phone most of the time.
Sorry we missed you MT.

One thing. The Nou Camp is awesome but it was * Baltic and we spent a lot of the game inside where the hotdogs stands were. Eventually ended up in the Celtic end as security inside the stadium was so relaxed.

Coldest i've ever been since Lyon away...
And the amount of lads who left at h/t because we were one down to Barca in their own stadium..weird

 

It looked baltic up in the gods, backl late last night disappointed in our attitude in the first half but thought we did alot better second half. Just cant agree a celtic team should be playing 1 up in any game it needs to win.

Aye. At the Nou Camp. 3 of the lads had Maltese passports so they got us the briefs. 94 Euro though. Dear as.....
Got offered a ticket for 500 off a tout just before he was decended on by plain clothed police and had his tickets confiscated.

 

3 of us paid 150 euro each for tickets ,there were celtic fans all round the stadium,i was sitting next to barca fans all during game they were great,we had great trip

 

Still don't think I've properly sobered up yet. Were in a bar selling 1 euro bottles of Estrella - it turned very messy

 

the celtic fans with legit tickets looked to have got a bad deal up in the rafters it looked freezing,I paid 120 for a 97 euro ticket off a tout and was sittin right behind artur boruc!

 

me and ma dad paid 140 euros a ticket but to be honest if a didnt get a ticket a wouldnt have been that bothered cause that party zone was class during the tuesday, and how great was the ramblas on the monday nite it was total hoachin

 

paid 94...mates had seiss passports.....* freezing though so i spent the second half near the hot dog vendors...first half i kept getting told to sit down by these *, of course they got deafed.

hey lads just bak an hour or so ago! was an amazing day at fanzone. we got offered tickets ranging from 90 euro o 250 euro. didnt take any of them. we kept getting told that we have them ripped up if we turned up and didnt wanna risk that. so decided to stay warm and stik it with the fanzone which was class. we made a footy field for like 5 aside, ended up mayhem at around 30aside! 1 guy was that pished he fell asleep on the filed of concrete lol, and the barca cameras was all over him lol. the police came up fae behind me and took ma bottle of bucky, flung it in the bin at the *, then gave me a reason for flinging away. no glass, no glass... tell me before you do it * and al deal wae it! they disapeard, dived intae the bin with some fans kept watch for the cops.. genius!! was impressed with what they done for us, and made us feel welcome.. part fae some police.
as for the game... shuda went for it! donati shud pak his things and go. fans loyal all over travel to see ther team, to watch them as 1 fan said "limp out". ther was no fight, no ambition by wgs! disappointing. give us sumthen to shout about!! 1 fan turned and sed after 3 mins, thank * i didnt pay that sort of money to get in now! cudnt help but think you may be right! the bit when messi limped about then went down greetin, we had the ball 3 on 3. play almost to a stop... get * wired in about them man, dont wait for them, take advantage and do them!! grrrr.

We spent most of our time in there. Was staying at the Hotel right opposite it. *, we were probably in the same pub all along and never even knew it. Were you with the Irish lads in there?

 

Nah, all of our group was scottish. We only found it by the off chance the day after the game. Must have been in there from around 1 till about 6 or 7. Fun times, euro a beer can't be sniffed at.

 

I have been to Aberdeen and Inverness in the winter but nothing could compare to how baltic it was over there. At one point all the Celtic fans were jumping up and down singing 'we are * baltic, we are * baltic, nah nah nah, nah nah nah'!

 

Correct, it was absolutely freezing. However, I set the standards for our hardcore Celtic fans and took my top off. Horrible idea

 

Aye I saw that. Made me feel a bit warmer.
