What a hero. The fact this is his transisitional season is quite scary,
Feels like we're only getting stared :50:

Your negligee. He'd turn up and you'd be like hi Brendan Rodgers, I'm the only female in my family. And I'm only dressed up as one. I have a trophy you can lift. No? 5 minutes later. It puts the lotion in the basket :47:

You can just tell every time he talks hes here for the long haul, the guy is clearly Celtic daft. He got emotional as * today I'd bet a major part of it was him wishing his old Da was still alive to see him manage Celtic. I got choked up listening to him. I think as long as the board keep backing him he will stick around, and I'm not expecting silly money to get spent and I bet you Brendan isn't either.

What's great for the young fans who are just getting into Celtic isn't so much that we're winning, it's the way we're winning, those two goals today and the ice cool penalty to win the cup. Imagine that would have some impact on a young fans mind, now a fan for life :ynwacelti

Aye for sure he would have been thinking about his dad today and the joy he expressed when Celtic won. Now his son had won a trophy for the team he loved. :yeah:

UEFA cup run would be something else man, most exciting time being a Celtic fan since the O'Neill years. Good times under Strachan Lennon and Deila, but it feels like we have been moving along steadily without hitting the heights of the MON years.

Could Brendan surpass O'Neill? I think so, In my opinion Brendan is the better manager. Can't wait to see what is in store for us.

The biggest compliment I can give him was after about 15 minutes and Aberdeen had barely had a kick and we were dominating, I was just sitting thinking to myself this isn't normal. We're usually a panicky mess at Hampden

People will quite rightly talk about the change in style, work in the transfer market and the work he's done with the fitness. But the biggest change IMO, is the mentality

1st trophy in the cabinet under Rodgers with a record of 11 goals and 0 conceded in cup :notworthy
Surely there's not been many teams that have won the league cup without conceding a goal?

Our team at the end of the summer transfer window next year could look very tasty.

Not in a row, last time we won the League Cup was in Ronny's first season which we managed without conceding.

Was anyone worried after our first competitive game in Gibraltar?

Not really was a total freak result tbh, you just need to look at games all over the place and it happens, though Efe not being near the team since has helped.

To not get carried away, I think this guy could be up there with Martin ONeill. Dunno about another eufa cup final (europa if ye wanty be a * about it)

10 in a row is surely a possibility if Brendan sticks around.

Fills me with a lot of confidence, signings, performances and just generally the way he conducts himself.
