struggling to remember much mate, game was a while ago! Aitchison scored an extremely good solo goal & Miller very tidy on the ball. The commentators were always praising him, would have walked into that barca side that day- which is an extremley strong youth team. Sadly they pumped us 4-1 in return.

Ajer suppose to be box to box? i know he has been playing the youth champions league game.

If Brown has half the composure he showed on Wednesday night it will be a stroll for him. The only thing that concerns me is Hampdens pitch is a disgrace and cuts up easier than a golf green! If the pitch can hold we will stroll it, Browns passing on a good pitch is up there with the best in europe for ball retention.

Brown is like a new player this season compared to last season where he looked done, don't know how much he was playing with injuries last season but certainly is fitter looking now.

He was playing with tendonitis for half the season.

An absolute collosus for us in midfield.

Exceptional display once again, most important player in our team.

He is now, in my eyes, a club legend.

He's incredible, he never gives up and his distribution makes it so much easier for the rest of the team moving forward.

Wasn't the best first half but thought he was excellent second half.

He's the kind of player other footballers love having in the team because you can rely on him and if there's a fight to be had he'll be leading the battle.

Another fantastic performance today. Not only can he pass a ball now, he's taking the * when doing it

I've been wondering for a while now, whether or not he'd have reached this level of performance for us had he not been hampered by injuries.

It probably forced him to develop other aspects of his game to compensate... then when he got his acceleration back...

Possibly, he often plays defence during games when covering so he had to learn that, then because he sees the whole game in front of him from that deep he's learned how to find the best run forward with the ball often reaching reaching the half way line before releasing a pass to a creative midfielder. His interceptions are excellent at close range even if sometimes he picks up the odd yellow it is worth it. Mind you when he's on form he doesn't get yellow because he can retrieve the ball without much contact.

It's all these things together that give him his greatest and most important quality and that is his ability to control games with a captain's sense of purpose.

I agree he's a Celtic legend but I've thought that for a while. He's just confirmed it this season after coming back from what seemed more like a mental problem that had ended his game but I think others must be right and it was injuries that caused that mental problem because he knew he was a yard slow and it was costing the team with all those fouls and his positioning was slow too. He looked a broken man the first 6 months of this year. A shadow of himself which is what worried me the most, I worried he might lose his desire for the game because playing through injury is counter productive.

But * * talk about a Phoenix rises from the ashes, he's flying and breathing fire again. :47:
