"I am not a communist and neither is the revolutionary movement, but we do not have to say that we are anticommunists just to fawn on foreign powers."

"They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America?"

Oh no this sucks. Castro has always been an interesting world leader in my opinion. His story is very fascinating and a great read. RIP!

I'm not an expert on Chile by any stretch of the imagination but socialism seems to have played a huge part in their recent history.

Can I have a real answer? I'm genuinely interested. For a guy named Che Guevara I thought you might've have something to say on the person whose betrayal played a huge role in death in Che's death.

Yeah, centre-left socialism like our Labour party, not Castro style or Venezuelan communism.

Cringe for the gangsters and criminals in Miami who are out celebrating Fidel's death.

I hope the Green Brigade have a tribute planned for Sunday.

I wonder how the little band of right-wing, butcher's apron waving, Yank worshiping, war mongering, ethnic supremacists that have infiltrated our support recently will feel about it...

I don't think Che had any bad feelings towards Castro at the end. They disagreed on many things, but it was a different revolution for both of them.

Che was an outsider who had a deep desire to bring about a departure from Capitalism and American influence in South America. Fidel was and always remained Cuban first and foremost. Che was more idealistic. It was these ideals that made him want to take the revolution through all of Latin America.

His final letter to Fidel tells you much of his thoughts on departure. He loved Fidel and he loved Cuba.
