Doesn't surprise me. Used to play on a football pitch right outside her block, all lit up one..

I remember something about some stabbings on foreigners (think getting jumped) and a march going by when we were up because of it..

Naw, although if you were young and white and no from the area, you were an 'easier target'definitely but to be honest Brixton wasn't picky when growing up :56:. I mean because our schools and pal's were on the border to Brixton..

Ah I see, it was just not your turf. You ever come across the Yardies?, they have some reputation. Sell good gear though

There's no areas I think twice about driving through.

I've had a golf club swung at my car in spring burn though and got my windae tanned and chased by a group of wee guys with knives in Parkhead.

Saracen street can be some laugh for driving through. I've seen an older woman pushing a pram absolutely leather a wee trackie, SnapBack wearing * at a bus stop.

Royston never seems that bad to me. Milton doesn't seem like a great place though.

No parts are that bad now I don't think, even for teenagers. 10/15 years ago teenagers from any area couldnt really go into any other area unless they knew people from there but i'd guess nowadays with social media and facebook and twitter and that they probably all know each other through them so not as bad fighting as there was then when people didnt know much about others.

Also probably less stabbings, shootings, murders, stolen cars and vandalism than there was back then too.

Govanhill is not as bad as it is made out to be.You can walk through there any time and still feel safe.
Can't say the same about Pollok though.
