If you listen to the music properly you'll hear him singing that there are some fans who complain every time we get beat but most who appreciate when we get beat by a better team it's good football.

Barca played well tonight and so did we, we are just different in class and that is reality. There are so many situations in life where we meet class and we have to compete with it and sometimes we are successful and sometimes we are not but when you live in Glasgow you can deal with all sorts of class every day and spot a weakness straight away because we all live under the same rules when we are out on the town. And that is what football is, everyone out on the town. That is how we beat Inter Milan. They were out on the town that night getting into all the best places front of the queue because they attracted the best people who wanted to be seen with the football artists, then we came along, football artists painting a new picture with many colours and it caused such a surprise the clubs of milan were empty that night, no one wanted to be seen there, not because they didn't want to be seen with each other, because they didn't want to be seen themselves and answer the questions all artists want to know, how did they do it, what is this strange new speed and mixture of colours this uncultured bring to the canvas?

Pavaroti sings oh me a more I was always a Celtic fan that is where I got my voice, it was when I seen them play I knew then what it meant for a team to sing and I joined the chorus, my first song was Oh it's a Grande olde team to play for!

After that I knew how to sing and make an atmosphere, Celtic are the best teachers in the world when it comes to singing!

Proud of the players. Especially Brown, thought he was superb.

2 centre halves impressed as well.

I don't think tonight told us anything we don't already know, with a central midfielder, winger and competition for Rogic the priority.

Barcelona used to be respected for their footballing culture and generally the players were good people, but when they start signing the likes of cheating scummy * like Suarez and Neymar that respect has gone for me, * them.

Disappointed obviously that we didn't get something out of that game. We did enough to maybe have sneaked a point on another day. But it wasn't to be. Having said that some very good performances and an encouraging performance. Clearly a group as tough as this one was a bridge too far for us this season. But I really do feel we will be the better for it heading into next seasons European campaign and I can see us doing something special down the road in Europe under Brendan Rodgers.

On another note. Any word on Scott Sinclair? Keeping my fingers crossed he is ok for Sunday.

Finally while I have the upmost of respect for Barcelona as a club and what they represent and that hasn't changed as clubs like ours and Barcelona are bigger then any individual I have to say the contempt I have for Neymar knows no bounds after his petulant and cheap behaviour tonight. He may be a world class player but as a person he is a * end of story for me.

Thought our support was brilliant last night. Broony again, saves his best games for big yins. We came up short but wasny for lack of effort.

Not blamin the ref, best team won but he shat his pants.

Neymar is such a wee *. Anytime I've seen this wee *, ma dislike for him grows.

I can't help agree with you and it disappoints me, Barcelona the modern team have introduced a new style of football to the game and it's beautiful, passing so quick it makes players dizzy. But when their players start harassing the referees for cards to be handed out after they have dived, I don't believe this should be part of the game and I don't believe the great managers who changed the style of the game would have agreed with this.

As far as I know the great Hungarian team who invented modern football didn't play act and ask the ref for favours. Neither did their successors the Ajax team. Nor the Dream Team of Barca. I don't know about the Real Madrid teams of Di Stefano and Roberto Carlos. I would like to think they played only for the game too.

I can understand Messi asking for a card though, as he is hacked down so much it stops him playing his game. It should be left up to the ref I know but sometimes it must be frustrating. The only reason I don't like Neymar doing it is because it looks like he plays for it sometimes. If he feels he can't get past someone he will stick his leg out to connect with theirs to make it look like they brought him down. I've never seen Messi do this. I don't think I've ever seen Messi cheat apart from that handball when he was 19. He gets hacked down all the time. How else do you stop him? So when he flashes the card I can understand it as I've already said.

How many of our fans do you think were flashing the card during the infamous Atletico game in 1973? That is a game when they should have ended up with 8 men. But our players didn't flash the card. Maybe they should have? If a ref doesn't know what he's doing maybe the players can influence him?

I think Barca will find it tough in the Champions League until Iniesta is back. So they may be in luck as he's due back within two months. It looks like Madrid are going to win it again as they just beat Atletico with half a team. Atletico with the best defence in Europe.

I'd like to see Dortmund win it. I loved their pressing against Bayern. I wonder how Barca could handle that kind of pressing. But then again I wonder how any team could handle Messi with Neymar and Suarez beside him?

Messi is some player. He makes all the difference.

Messi asking for a card is fairly common in La Liga. It's just never going to be popular here, especially when the ref gave us nothing all night. Totally agree that Messi was the difference. Everything of theirs went through him.

Thing is mate, it's actually common here too. It's just players here don't do the arm action of flashing a card.

Granted, it's maybe more when a player is consistently fouling, "How many times ref?!", but it's still asking for a player to be booked.

I cringe sometimes when I hear pundits greetin about players 'wanting a fellow pro' booked. If someone deserves a booking I'd be saying so.

All the players were pressuring the referee as he didn't seem courageous enough to take control of the match much less book when necessary. The foul on Leo which was a clear breakaway was at minimum a yellow and the slow reaction from the referee forced the player to demand it

Plus, singling out Messi who is probably fouled more than any player and never dives is truly grasping at straws

Not singling him out at all. I pointed out one thing that he did, which was true. I also praised his performance in the same post.

The referee was giving Barca every decision and the foul on Messi should have been a yellow so the referee got that right. But Barcelona still deserved their win.

What straws am I clutching at? None.

Pointing out that Messi somehow is always asking for a car is absolutely clutching at straws - when he does this, it's for obvious situations where a ref should immediately react. And on the Sviatchenko incident, referee did not make any indication he was going to book the player when it was clearly a cynical foul where he was effectively free & clear

Can we get this guy banned? If a hun came on here and started pointing out his views like this he wouldn't last a second.
by the way, mate, * Barcelona, * your players and * your fans. Someone said earlier that they like Barcelona because their fans show us respect, or something. You can be pretty * sure that "respect" would disappear pretty quickly if they were on the wrong end of a couple of defeats. Respect? More like patronising.

Take is easy mate, he's just a Barca fan who might sound like he's trolling but I think he's just backing up his team. You're acting like Neymar just took the ball past you twice then dived over your tackle to get you a booking then a free kick :102:

It's good to hear other fans as long as they're not taking the * completely. I think he sounds alright. Barca fans generally don't take any other team seriously anyway apart from Madrid Atletico and Bayern. They keep reaching the quarter finals year after year without any worries. It's when they meet these teams they start to get worried.

So yeah I don't see why a fan would come in here to troll, maybe he's a Celtic fan who wants Barca to win our games?

If he's a troll it will show quite quickly, like as quickly as you saying get him to * :giggle1: Don't worry about other fans, just ignore them or talk to them. I think you'll find most of them are genuine.

What was with the Barca fans? Even quieter than Citeh. Barely heard a peep in the stadium when they scored.

Hard game as we know, their first goal was great, really only them that can pull off such a goal 99% of teams couldnt pull off the * Neymar done, 99% of other teams wouldnt have a guy who made the run to get onto it then 99% of guys who did make the run wouldn't even have hit a shot on target from there.

2nd goal was * to lose although seeing replays it was a harsh penalty, looked like Suarez was holding Izaguirres arm and pulled him down but most refs would give a penalty.

We done ok I thought, 1 good chance the Dembele header that could have equalised, thats 3 times we've been a bit unlucky against them. That Dembele header missing which would have made it 1-1, in the away 7-0 game Dembele missed a penalty to go 1-1 I think and in the last home game against them Mulgrew missed a header that I think we would have taken the lead with even though we were down to 10 men.

We had 4/5 other wee half chances or times we could have got through but they all amounted to nothing.
