You have to remember that two of the three major European sides we've played so far during his reign have been Barcelona and Manchester City, two of the best attacking football teams on the planet.

The only time I've been really disappointed with BR so far was the Borussia game at home, as I think he may have underestimated them a little in comparison to the other two sides group in the group. He made amends with the 1-1 draw over there though.

Needs to be backed this January and next summer, he has shown what he can do with the players available and the ones he has brought in have made an instant impact bar de vries and Gamboa.

On the whole though tactically excellent most of the time, give him funds for 3 top players in the mould of Sinclair and we can compete against the like of Borussia.

De Vries is a strange one. Goalkeeper at 36. But there is some talk Gamboa was John Park's panic signing, or so I heard.

I like this, because they are either the most equipped team or the one with the most innovative manager. Ok that might be Klopp but still, it's up there with world's best.

I was also a bit disappointed when we played BMG away, I know they are a top team and very hard to beat at home but I thought we should have given them our all then. I think when we got the penalty and McGregor missed the sitter it showed that we are capabled of pulling off a good result if we are set up right and in the mood.

I'm still in a good mood though, normally I would be on a downer thinking we just got beat in Europe but after the last two years I think there is a lot of change that has happened and a lot to look forward to.

If we win the league this season and qualify for the CL again I think we'll play much better because we'll have signed better players and already know how to play against better teams. The fast pressing football is coming back to Celtic Park.

Why did he play McGregor on the right?

Never mind instead of Paddy, why did he make that selection choice at all?

Rome wasn't built in a day. it's gonna take a few transfer windows for Rodgers to build the team he wants. Until that time comes, we'll be stuck with players like McGregor. We have an American international over at the min who is in talks, a central midfielder he is, that's a sign Brendan has already spotted where our weakness lays and is trying to sort it. I have total faith, he improved us ten-fold in just one transfer window, imagine what he'll do in 3 or 4, and given the fact he has now access to CL money!! Exiting times ahead,

    Sure, banter is banter pal.

But facts are also facts. Even the most ardent supporter of the club knows CM at RM? Disaster waiting to happen. Even if he would have played Gamboa I would of half accepted him at RM. Odd decision.

We done ok and were outplayed by a better side so I'm not saying the apocalypse arrived but we can always improve.

I actually agree. I think he gave them too much respect again. Forrest would have ripped them to shreds and gave them more to think about in a defensive sense which would have gave us less to think about in a defensive sense.

We are (as a club) all on a learning curve though.

Hopefully next year we will be better prepared.

Our Scouse is a toffee and hates Brendan Rodgers. He would probably rather McCoist was our manager.

Any chance he gets to stick the boot in he is going to take it all day every day.
