You need to catch a grip. Normally everything you say makes sense. But this is the only time I have to say something sorry, it was a penalty and Suarez was making a move that couldn't be contained so the defender grabbed him to stop him. It happens all the time to Suarez, he makes runs players can't control and sometimes if you can't control something you have to stop it and then understand it. This is the natural effect that messes with defenders minds. Just makes me feel sad I have to explain this to you, probably the most intelligent person on the forum. Unless I'm mixing you up with Che Guevara?

That was a really good game tonight and in the end we were just outclassed. I think Sinclair getting injured was a big blow to us- he really makes us tick at times. Felt Forrest should have started to. However a brilliant Messi goal really took the wind out of our sails, no complaints with the penalty either- on first view it was a stonewall penalty and remember the ref only gets one look at it.
Throughout the campaign plenty of positives have emerged and we have a great experience behind us in particular for the qualifiers next year. Really need to strengthen the centre of midfield though. Still a couple of players of real quality short in there, a winger is a must as well.
Overall though great being back in the big time- champions league games are great to be involved in whatever the score.

Why didn't he signal with his flag then if he was nearer the incident, if a linesman see's a foul before the ref he is duty bound to signal, naw but I'm sure you heard him mention it was a pen over his mic system.

Never thought I'd see the day where we could lose two home games in a row in the CL and finish bottom of the group, yet I'm still feeling positive.

The effect that Brendan has had on this club since taking over has been amazing.

Getting us back into the big time at the first time of asking, signing quality players and really giving us something to build on in the years to come, under his leadership. It's a bit of a shame that we got handed the toughest group out of them all, but it will also have been a great learning experience for what is a young squad.

I still think we're on the cusp of something great again at Celtic, but BR will need at least another year to bring in more players that suit his style of play and hopefully we're back in the group stages again next season.

You are missing the whole point, I am not arguing it wasn't a penalty, the good Doc says the linesman gave it, though catch this he never signaled or even consulted the ref, that is what I am saying.

I hope tonight will once and for all end the one sided love-in some of our fans seem to have for Barcelona. The embarrassing infatuation of cheering their players when they're coming off the pitch (See Iniesta, Messi etc.) or even applauding when they do a nice little trick. Totally embarrassing!!

At the end of the day when we go on the park with them they should be treated no differently from a Rangers or Aberdeen player. They ARE the enemy, and should be treated as such, not obsessed and lusted over like some teenage school girl would.

Messi, the man everyone falls over themselves to admire, like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Messi the tax cheat intimidated the weak referee into booking one of our players tonight. That's some sportsmanship there- "ahh ahh but he once said he loved Celtic Park". Neymar, another tax cheat behaved like an absolute thug and animal, and a stronger ref would have shown him a red for constantly provoking our full back Lustig. Even Enrique had to eject from the pitch before he started chaos.

I hope I never live to see the day were i see another 'Celtic / Barca' scarf flying at Celtic Park. I support Independence for Catalonia, but I no longer support FC Barcelona after tonight's pantomime!! Sin é

I think it's a life long thing and an appreciation of the style of football we both wish to play. I think it's great in football. I noticed it the night I seen the 2012 game. I was at the Larsson game too btw which I thought was very sad because the romance of any technique was taken away. But the 2013 game there was a stadium round of applause when Iniesta got subbed because it was a salute to one of the world's greatest players playing at Celtic Park. I think our fans have an understanding of what's good and what's not, respect is good, too much respect is not, I don't think we've ever lost a game against Barca due to too much respect.

Only game I was upset was when my favourite current player Broony fell for Neymar's wind up and lost us the game when we were stopping their ideas and frustrating them and it looked like we were on for a draw.

It's very few times Barca have pumped us completely so we can't say we show them too much respect.

We lost, but thats the best performance weve had against Barca. Now imagine a couple high qaulity signings to replace mcgreggor and Armstrong. Were gonna be unstoppable.

To be fair, if you seen both things you shouldn't be complaining just because it wasn't technically carried out? You do know they have earphones to communicate. I can appreciate you being upset about the decision because it went against us that is the whole point :47: Sometimes we make fouls and things just don't go our way
