[Cross Platform] FIFA 17

Think most * purchase some coins in this now. Only way to really get a good start to FUT these days.

Every other game manages to suck you in to paying for stuff in game.


Recently tinkered with custom tactics on this, surprisingly started to get some games going my way. Not sure if pot luck or if the CT actually works. But defo suggest folk look in to it if you are struggling like me. Just google them and copy down what others seem to do.

 

Currently playing career mode and looking for some talented youngsters at bargain prices .. anyone any ideas on who to go for? Just signed Emre Mor from Dortmund for 4.5million and 25k a week - only 19 and already rated 71 with high growth

 

Emre Mor will be a cracker for you I've got him in mine. Also signed, Donnaruma (first season) around £9m Passlack £1m from Dortmund, Pulisic £1m from Dortmund & Oxford from West Ham. Continue to play Oxford and he'll reach around 88 overall, Lansbury £4m from Forest & Horvath (GK) got him for very low money also.

Andrew Robertson came in on free at the beginning of my 3rd season.

A few of my signings have been player + money, getting rid of the likes of O'Connell, GMS, Ciftci, Boyata, Ambrose, Brown, Izaguirre, Lustig.

 

Cheers mate, totally forgot donnaruma, even at 9 mil that's a steal .. still have a few days of the transfer window left on my save so I'll see who I can bring in then. Gonna have a look at Kostas Manolas also but got a feeling Roma will be looking for mega bucks

 

Custom tactics are vastly underrated, great help online and against AI.

 

This game is doing my box in, how the * can seasons be so different to UT.

There really is * all in the game to tell you to use them. Yet they add so much it seems.

It can be very annoying when you're also trying to build cause some of the young talent that has major potential you've to pay way over the odds. Donnaruma for me is 83 overall and he's only 19 or something 20. Keep Gamboa he's lightening quick. I try and get players in on pre contracts rather than splash £10m on one player unless you really have no option.

 

I remember last years the High Pressire tactic was really good then EA nerfed it, that's when I went back to custom tactics.

 

I'm pretty sure Gianluigi Donnarumma is only 17 mate - what a talent he is. just wanted to get stuck into my season tbh so I've passed the transfer windown and signed johnny Russel to rotate with Sinclair and signed youri tielemans to replace bitton - gonna use the takeover from the catalogue when the next transfer window comes around and just go ape-* with players Mor has been a great signing so far

 

Aye he starts off at 17 but I'm now into my 3rd. Much did you get Tielemans for? I was looking at him but being quoted too much.

 

Ah I see! I'm only in my first season - Got tielemans for 12million + bitton

Signed tielemans in Fifa 16 and had his overall eventually reach 91 so hopefully more of the same in 17.

 

Jeez! I must try that plus Lansbury even. He is quality, I used to always sign a striker called Leandro from Gremio then the Brazilian league was removed and couldn't get him any longer, he was unreal. Can't find him now though. Had Embolo in last years and he was a beast.

 

Started Celtic in the $PL ,taken the money takeover to even against the other teams,

Any shouts for a striker was thinking about Andre Hahn would prefer a "real face" as well,like Dembele and thumb but need a upgrade

When I played FM I always signed Ajer and he always turned out to be a monster, wonder if he'd develop that way in fifa.

If you've taken the take over perk, try going for dybala or Iicardi .. great strikers.

 

Don't know if that would be too unrealistic

 

Ah, well if you want to go for a more realistic partnership I'd recommend Borja Mayoral from Wolfsburg - 19 yo - 72 rating - 86-88 potential or something like that and Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid - 21 yo - 79 rating - 88-90 potential

 

Made over 100k today just selling French and Belgian league players. Love these wee squad builders.

 

Anyone been doing the weekend league? I got my best 31-9 this weekend on PS4

 

Never home for the weekend unfortunately.
Happened to be on Saturday though, couldn't figure out how to * enter any of it.
