In the long term, absolutely. For now, I reckon Broony is still fine, but imagine what we could do with the Bitton money alone....if someone comes in with similar to an Espanyol? Brendan can work wonders..

All thing's to look forward too. We're gonna become an excellent side..

As I was saying I would have gone for through the goalie's legs.
I think he had to go for it.

If you're on the left & taking it with your left as McGregor was, you would need to have a much more favourable angle than McGregor had to score it. That's not to say he couldn't have scored from this position but he would have had to have put it through the keepers' legs or sneak it in the near post. Failing either of those then a right foot curler around the keeper at his far post would have done it. He took the worst of the 4 options which is poor but not unexpected from an average player who has rarely played.

Would be delighted never to see this average journeyman play for us again. Bury FC beckons.

    Wise up!

Real 5s players play on a monday, cant be having it clashing with potential Champions League games on a Wednesday.

Played okay when he came on be people will only remember the miss...

Good home grown squad player to have around.

A bit harsh. At least Calum has a heart unlike Biton.
Can't fault him for trying and he does score some good goals at times.

Should have squared it to Sinclair and it was an easy tap in.

Was a really poor effort in the end.

Putting the miss to one side I still really don't believe he's good enough for us. The term 'Celtic class' has obviously been diluted in recent years but I really don't think he's good enough to even be a squad player when it comes to us progressing in Europe.

Disregarding his miss tonight I don't really rate him that much at all and I don't see him as being good enough consistently for our first team. I mean it's been over two years since he broke into the team and you have to say he hasn't really kicked on as he should have. Make or break season for him.

Your more of a journeyman on here than anyone, you talk some amount of * looking for an arguement. This place would be better without your constant drivvel

Tbh Henderson should see more game time, let mcgregor leave, might still have stock in England lower leagues after Notts County.

    I. Think he is too lax with ball especially in Europe he's guilty of losing the ball in stupid places, prior to kolo's Efe lapse, he passed the ball straight to a bmg player but got lucky with offside call.

The first thing he did last night was let a guy basically walk past him and take ball from him with ease when he had the chance to initiate a good move.

not a fan of the lhad but not on to give him a hard time about his miss..
he is a Celtic fan and will be giving himself all the criticism that is due.

he is not a striker.. i am sure if it were all down to wishes, his and ours, he would
    be a hero this morning.

i can't see any longterm future for him at Celtic.
