I really like McGregor aswell, But that miss was shocking.
Especially when he has scored some similar chances before.

He'll learn from that and will be a good wee player to have kicking about the squad in the future.

He's a trier, but he's never good enough at CL level.

    Far too powderpuff and dainty.

Offers nothing for me, why managers play him I'll never know.

He had a wee fleeting bit of promise away at the start early in his Celtic career then became fkn useless, then people got a bit excited with a few games when he came on and had played decent against the * in Scotland but that soon ended.

Continually gives ball away in Europe too easy, and that miss has cost us Euro footy. If that went in, we were 90% there, as most likely us or BMG won't pick up another point.

    Anyone in mind?

Is it too late to bring McGinn in to learn from him?

Harsh as * some of you, would be praising him to the heavens if he'd tucked that away.

I thought the 3 young boys who came on played some tidy passes in the final 3rd and looked brave.

Ideally McCarthy but I'd be having McGinn as well. I'm sure their are guys out there in Europe that can do the job as well though, just a matter of finding them and paying the price.

Big, big chance to win the game for us.

Strikers miss those though, so can't be too critical of him.

Looked to up the tempo when he came on, and the manager made a good change at the time.

Harsh. They win as a team, they lose as a team. Sinclair could be every bit as guilty, or even Dembele, with that logic.

My concern about Mc Carty is that he seems quite injury prone. We are definitely in a position, financially, to go for that quality. Wouldn't say no to Mc Ginn mind you.

Really like McGinn but I think we're gonna see a much higher calibre of player coming in for that position..

    That's what I'm thinking.

As good as Broony has been I think we have designs of some serious quality in there.

Put it this way, if we spend like i think we will then Bitton hasn't a hope of playing for us and Broony will have some * serious competition for his place.

Just the way it should be.

Forget this nonsense about being powderpuff, there is plenty of lightweight 'powderpuff' types out there that operate at the highest level. It is quality on the ball that counts & like most of our midfielders he's not up to the level.

Brown won't lose his place, no chance. Bitton is done here, thankfully. Brown will get the quality partner he deserves in January, with Armstrong as capable backup

Looking at it again it was a difficult chance, keeper closed the angles down well and Calum snatched at it a bit.
Maybe a higher quality player would have elected to try and nutmeg the goalie from that acute angle.

Wasnt a must score by any means but he needed to test the keeper at least.

Looked like Sinclair was saying that Mcgregor could have cut it back for him.
