i personally think he hasnt played at his potential for few months now and while donatti gets brought in and out i think brown should be dropped to let him kno he isnt a first pick and has to live up to his wage every week

He'll try his heart out against Hibs when the boo boys start on him.

i'd like to see about 6 players dropped but we dont have the squad to do it, brooons due a big performance and i think it could be against hibs. wouldn't be surprised if he scored, i'm gonna stick a tenner on it

people are expecting too much from Brown due to his price tag, he is quite simply one of the best we have, look how we struggled without him against Barca.
Scott Brown A ok for me, drop GCaldwell and LNaylor and even captain marvelous if Balde is fit.

Wouldn't drop Brown on the back of 1 misplaced pass (the stick he's getting wouldn't be as fervent if it never happened) as Strachan said, was there calls for Boruc to be dropped when he threw 2 balls in to the back of the net at Easter Road?

think everyone, me included, is getting a bit worried and looking for easy answers to sort the team out at the moment, the amount of schoolboy errors in our games is scary but i think a bit of stability is what we need now, broons pass was a shocker but he's the best we've got. i'd love to be able to drop naylor for evra, caldwell for cannavaro and broon for seedorf but we cant, so lets be realistic

Thing is, for me, he's playing well. I think folk are expecting drving runs and for him to beat 3 men every time he gets the ball and it isn't going to happen. The amount of running and ground he covers during a game is amazing, he does by far the most tracking back for the team and if one of his team mates gets kicked he's the guy that goes looking for the kick back. He's a good team mate and a superb worker i'd have him in there all the time.

The back line i'd go with tommorow Hinkle Balde Odae Robson. If balde is still out then Mick.
    A bit off topic though.

It easy to say drop him, but who will replace him with, Sno, Hartley. Will they be any better?

Balde got injured at the African nations and as far as I've heard there's been no word of him being fit to play..

No idea but we do have Pressley available.. :47:

On the BBC website for team selction against Inverness it said Kennedy remains out which may suggest he was close to being back to fitness , but might just be the way that I interpreted it..

Brown is and was not ready to be our midfield general. It is/was only to be excpected that he will be inconsistant as he is a young lad and this is why 4.4 million on him was a mistake in my view.No doubt he will be a good player however you only spend that much on potential when the rest of the team is functioning correctly.

Unfortunately we dont currently have to many proven quality players to call upon for this area of the field and Brown has to play as he is probably just the best option we have got right now.

It amazes me that 3 years on and 12 million spent on Midfielders we as fans are still not entirely happy with our midfield.
