That was ridiculously easy, to the point I wasn't bothered about going in to extra time as I think we'd of taken 2 or 3 off them in that added half hour..

Seriously, how easy was that? They never laid a glove on us whatsoever..

That was more dominant than the 2 nil we had when they were utter * under McDowall a few year ago..

Thomson is a disgrace and a dirty orange *..

I wasn't nervous or bothered pre match at all, and it's clear why.....they played and set up knowing they were far inferior to us..

Broony ran the show, and that tackle on Halliday

 

If you look at the replay of Sviatchenko's goal, the reaction of the majority of their players tells you that they didn't think it was a foul.

 

Even from Thomson's viewpoint, Hill had his arm wrapped around Sviatchenko, then collapsed..

Disgusting decision. He tried his best to even out that contest, I'll give him that. Was letting them take an age any time they were under the cosh, or letting them take quick free kicks when he was writing no surrender in his wee notepad. Couple of dodgy offsides against us when clean through with Dembele, and the other linesman had Brendan perplexed plenty in the second half.... And me..

 

Also as well, that goal last couple of minute's would've hurt more than 3 or 4 nil from early door's..

You could hear a show of defiance manifesting during the last 10 minute's and hope of, "we can actually do this " from the delusional, but bang. It's over, a late 1 nil annihilation..

As pointed out before, the cheating * only blows for the foul as the header hits the net

 

Brown was * everywhere,surely he got Celtic's MOTM?

 

Them claiming there isn't a gulf in class because the score line was 1-0 while only having 1 shot is the same as us claiming to be of the same class as Barcelona when we defend for our lives and they beat us by one.

Thomson should be demoted.

McGuire has touched on it, but throughout the whole game I found myself saying "how long are they taking?!"

Every free kick, thrown in, goal kick. Everything was an attempt to slow it down and catch a grip of themselves. At one point I genuinely thought Wallace was just like "nah I'm not throwing this until you book me", which of course would just be met with a giggle from the man in the middle "Och, Lee, ya mad joker ya"

Still feels sweet as *, but at the same time, awfully run of the mill

 

A fantastic blend of euphoria and relief when Dembele scored. After Rogic missing a sitter, a perfectly good goal being disallowed, and Sinclair hitting the bar, I was beginning to think it was going to be one of those days.

Not really true mate. Im sitting here sober and stand by it. They may not be very good, but they are better than last year, and last year they were better than the year before, and.....you can see where im going!!!

Its not big deal, they are what they are, but it would be foolish for anyone to dismiss them or the likelihood they will be better next year than this.

 

I hope you right mate, but unfortunately, for me, their is a glass ceiling as to how good we can get, playing in a weak league with no opposition. Not only do we struggle to hold onto our talent, but we have to keep replacing it.....which we have done quite well recently. No matter how much money we get, we can still only improve to x point. The dice are loaded against us and every other team from smaller nations now.

 

I never said 'we cant get better', i said 'i dont necessarily think we can get better without any competition'.

That said, i dont think we can improve too much more.....unless we start throwing silly money about. The fact is, if we get an offer over £12m say for Dembele, he will be off in January. He is getting his chance in the shop window, and he is taking it.

Don't even know where to begin. Thinks Simunovic scored the header. No mention of Wallace or Kiernan badly exposed for the winner. Broony a 7, same as Halliday . Gives Rogic an 8 and said he was our best attacking threat, and that was Halliday's direct opponent, where Rogic turned him with ease at least 3/4 time's. Gave Windass a 6 yet this wonder-kid was woeful..
