Their best chance of the game was because he strolled back and refused to follow their man driving into the box. A lazy * with undoubted talent. He's too self obsessed. Need someone in there with desire.

Hopefully Brendan and his team has a replacement in mind come January. Wouldn't mind if it was McCarthy :fear:

if it's a problem for him he has every right to go off.

I'd be delighted if he never played for us again. So slow and lightweight, and it's evident in games like today's when it's high intensity and more physical than the usual match.

From now until January I'd be fine with Brown being paired with Armstrong/McGregor/Henderson or the player I want to see most, Ajer.

Shame he had to come off. No way is Armstrong a better player than Bitton. Griffiths coming on made the difference, not Armstrong. We were dominating with Bitton on the pitch and when he went off it was no different, except we had the talent of Griffiths which made all the difference. He made some important interceptions and allowed us to keep the pressure on them for large parts of the game. I really don't understand the hate.

There is a cracking player in there but shows very little desire and bottle , coming round to the idea if he left I wouldn't be too bothered now.

Armstrong teamed up with Forrest to have a shot on goal within minutes of coming on and that came from a driving run from midfield.

I do agree though I think if Bitton had the mental desire to give his all in a game he would be the better player than Armstrong. But there was one moment in the second half I think when the ball bounced up a bit and Bitton was clear favourite to win it but he let Miller move in and take it. If that was Broony Miller wouldn't even have bothered trying as he knew he wouldn't get a sniff, that's the problem with Nir, he gives players the idea they might get something out of him if it's a 50/50 ball or they challenge him with a bit of force.

Can pass well and has decent ball control, but his decision making is his biggest downfall.

If you didn't see the difference Armstrong made you weren't watching.

As soon as he came on we looked more energetic. He made runs and got behind their defence a couple of times, forcing a decent save from Gilks.

Bitton was useless all game. Armstrong did more in 10 minutes than Bitton did in his entire time on the pitch.
