    It's a cup tie and we have been * for a number of years at Hampden and we need to get rid of this Semi final jinx for me.

    This will be a very different tie from the league game and we need to get into them from the first whistle.

    We have the squad to beat them I hope we smash them to bits but a win of any kind will do to get to the final.

    Id start griffiths tommorow. Dembele has been a few games without a goal in open play, give the thumb a run out from the start and he will put at least 2 by the scum.

    Then bring dembele on after an hour or so, hes mibee needing a wee seat on the bench, can be good for the hunger of a player.

    Literally went 3 games without a goal from open play, and still scored in one of those three games. Another one of those games being BMG where he had zero to work with to be fair.

    Has to start. He tore them a new one last time.

    Thats why i said a few games. I just think griffiths deserves a crack at them, and i think dembele is more dangerous than griffiths coming of the bench than vice versa.

    I don't understand this "Griffiths deserves a crack at them". How does he? Based on form and how they've played this season, Dembele deserves to start tomorrow. He's been banging goals in and improving all the time.

    After what he did to them last time, they'll be worried about playing against him.

    To me we win this no matter who plays, mibee its my soft spot for the thumb but id love to see him starting, he must be chompin at the bit to get intae them, and as i said i think dembele is a better option off the bench than griffiths would be

    We've had a few off days at Hampden in recent years hopefully tomorrow wont be one of them. If we play as we did last time, high tempo right for the jugular from the off I can see us having an easy win, cant see us getting 5 again so gonna go for 6-0 :biggrin:

    Suppose it is, you could also look at it like this though, they know what dembele is capable of now so they will look to stifle him, hes a holder of the ball so expect 2 or 3 shutting him down, whereas griffiths plays off the shoulder and gets in behind.

    Anyway its a void argument as well pump them whoever starts id just personally love to see leigh on from the start

    We should have more than enough quality tae pump this mob, but the players need to be on their game, would be good if we could keep a clean sheet, but i guess winning the game is all that matters.

    Same here, LG on from the start will be more unsettling, harassing their shaky defence.

    Then, when we are 2 or 3 up bring Dembele on for the last 45 to finsh them off in style with a hat-trick.
