Unfortunately marked out the game tonight. Played well in spells though.

His through ball to Sinclair was a World Class defence splitting pass which deserved a finish.

If he could last 90 mins we wouldn't have him beyond this season.

Sinclair can't play with his back to goal, that was proven tonight, he's brilliant at getting in behind and running the channels but I'd rather Griff in there.

Got to be honest I find it hard to rate this lad at all. Put him next to Ross Barkley and who would do better in the CL and SPL? Plus he knackers after 60mins and lives off scoring 30 yard goals. Alan Thompson done enough of those and was way better. Bit of perspective would not go amiss.

Would sooner play Dembele and Griff up front and sacrifice the AMC.

Why compare him to Ross Barkley? What the * is the point in that?

Rogic has been one of our best players this season and last. How you can't see that is beyond me.

Kieran Tierney was officially our best player last year. He is also up there with one of our best so far this year + Broonie

I've seen a few last minute screamers from Rogic, otherwise I just see him get knackered after 60mins or become anonymous in Europe. He's hardly Moravcick or Nakamaura is he? Leicester bought Mahrez for 400k, we could easily get someone better with the right scouting on the cheap.

And on form Rogic has such obvious qualities and is a game changer for us. He's got quick feet which can get him into space and can put through perfectly weighted passes that split defences apart. As long as he's being fed the ball from midfield he's our most creative midfielder.

I wouldn't mind seeing Griffiths and Dembele up front either with hopefully Rogic just sitting in behind them if that was possible to do.

The first half in the 5 1 game Rogic was excellent, held the ball up well and creates space in midfield.

I would be disappointed if his name wasn't on the team sheet.

@Swervedancer to be fair to you/Rogic (its in my posts on the game) he was excellent in the 5-1 and like yourself it DID make me wonder if we could have him and Broonie and 2 up top in a Diamond formation?

Rogic sort of reminds me of when Everton had Tim Cahill only with more trickery but far less work rate/headers won.

To be honest, I was at the 5-1 game and thought he offered very little in the first half. He seemed to lose the ball all to often and also slow down the play when that wasn't required. However he is an excellent player and has some real talent I too would be disappointed to see him left out.

Strikes me as a Nakamura type player where he is a luxury and thankfully a luxury we as a team can afford

@Moussa10 Well it's true you see a lot more of the game when you're actually there so maybe he didn't play as well as I thought but yeah he is definitely one of our quality players who can make things happen when he's in the mood.

Easily in the top 3 best players at the club when on top form.

Can't understand why anyone wouldn't rate him.

The guy asked me who has been our best player this year and I said not Rogic which he found bizarre so I said its a literal fact last year KT won SPFL YPofY and he's carried that form onto this season, the only other player who's played consistently well for me has been Broonie.

That might be codswallop to some and thats fine, I have a thick skin, but thats how i see it from occasionally getting up to Paradise 5-6 times a year otherwise watching us on BT Sport/The Internet Streams.

Yet isn't their a player many people like for our club but you cant have it? Its Griff right?

Some people just dont 'get' other players.

Rogic has been one of our best players over the past year. Top 5 definitely.

I don't rate him as highly as others and certainly not at a European level for us but I can still see he's a very good player to have domestically.

    Gordon
    Lustig Toure Erik Tierney
    Brown Bitton
    Roberts Rogic Sinclair
    Dembele

That's our best team right now with possibly the exception of Jozo coming in for Toure or Erik. Griffiths imo doesn't feature in our best team.
