I miss Wanyama so much

Didn't we win that game? All I remember is big Virgil controlling the game, I thought he was a level above everyone on the pitch.

 

Yeah Kayal scored a rare goal and was Bitton not on the park for about 5 minutes?

 

Oh was he, well that's maybe why I don't remember him that much but I was fixated with Van Dijk. He must've been well up for it if he only lasted 5 minutes, they must've been two whole hearted challenges

 

I can't remember exactly how long it was, but I'm sure we were 2 up, Lennon threw him on to shore up the midfield and he got sent off fairly quickly. Ajax then pulled one back with near enough the last kick of the game.

That could be completely wrong though.

 

You could be right, my memory of it isn't that great and I was there. Thank * we won then cause he would have got some abuse if we lost that! Ajax are dicks too so it's always good to pump them. Maybe that's why he takes it so easy these days. There was a moment on Wednesday when he pressed the ball really quickly and earned us a free kick and I thought yes this is the way to play but that was it he never done it again. Very strange.

 

Would not lose much sleep if he is sold in January.

 

Yes he was sent off for an absolute needless lunch right on the half way line and put us under needless pressure.

Wouldn't lose sleep either if he was sold in January but simply can't see any decent team coming in for him, nor a good fee.

Simply must assist Brown in there with a ball winning midfielder as a transfer incoming as opened up at ease in Europe when the level moves up from the SPL.......simply because in league we are attacking 75% of the time and teams in league don't have the level to cut is open so easily as they do in European matches.

Only our fans would slate someone who was still recovering from a knock on International duty (Which forced him to miss the second of his two games for his country) after not being at his best against a very decent German outfit who play in one of the best leagues in the world. Let's jst forget how he played against Man City shall we.

It was just one of those nights where hardly anyone got pass marks (For me Rogic and Erik could hold their heads up).

He'll be back to his best tomorrow to shut a few up on here of that I have no doubts.

 

yet again bitton asking to come off, has anybody seen the video of him letting haliday run from his own half and he just gives up, his time is up IMO.

Lost the ball on the halfway line as well, jogged back as his marker galloped away with the ball. There was a bit of back and forth on our 18 yard line and he just stood in no mans land.

I can abide a lot of things but a lack of effort isn't one them.

Armstrong will surely start on Wednesday.

 

i said i would never forgive him after last years semi when he wanted off after we had made 3 subs, he only went and done it again today, unreal, at least we had subs this time.
