In the meantime, before there was Helmet or Rollins Band there was, (and still is) The Mark of Cain...

 

Just had to have a wee read on what the Mark of Cain meant. My favourite line is Cain murdering Abel but lying about it to *. Can just imagine *'s expression Mind you no wonder he looked confused, his punishment for Cain murdering Abel was putting a mark on Cain to warn anyone who harmed him they would be avenged sevenfold. I wonder if that is where that band got their name from?

Which means it is the end of the line for Karnivool (Tulf), on a score of 33, which in the other group would have been enough to stay safe. Turns and round-arounds, folks. And considering each of the 5 songs claimed at least 1 '1' vote, hiighlights jst how wel recieved this Groioup was overall.

Unlucky Sean and Tulf, good bands too but serious competition it's hard to predict anything. I especially liked hearing Karnivool as I'd never heard of them before.

In recognition of the fallen, and thought Crwoded House were going to be a real contender in this, the Finn brothers and Paul Hestor could quite easily have been duelly represented in this competition, with Split Enz.

 

Same. They were new to me also, so was a good introduction to this act.
