Forrest is playing because his form has been great and also because Roberts was injured. Roberts has subsequently struggled for form having been injured so I don't think it's accurate to say that Forrest is a 'teachers pet'.

    That's bullshit.

I think we all know that when both of them are at the top of their game, Roberts is a vastly superior player. But he got injured and Forrest took his chance. Roberts, tonight aside, hasn't impressed in his cameos in the last few weeks. Forrest deserves to be starting.

In saying that, if Forrest doesn't do much at the weekend and Roberts does, Paddy should get his place back.

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!

I'd have Paddy over JF all day long. Although conversely JF has been decent in the league and I am a firm believer in whoever is the form player stays in the team.

Tonights result will be bad for Der Hun.

Can see us taking out our frustrations on the first division champions.

Anything above 4 clear goals will be richly appreciated

Expecting to beat this Scum on Sunday, if not there are going to be doubts about Rodgers.

    I'd drop Bitton for Henderson.

    The Treble starts here..

For whatever reason Celtic just didn't turn up against BMG,
and i'm pretty sure the magic hat will have seen how poor we
were at the back.. KT early on had a shocker

Celtic players now have the opportunity to demonstrate that
though the CL group is a different level for us that we are still at
a different level from the rest of Scotland.. including our nearest
    Financial rivals.

The wednesday result has definitely put a new slant on this game.
lets just hope our players are out to prove a point

I'd start Roberts in this one, Forrest was well below par last night, Roberts looked bright and hungry.

When you've got a player of Roberts talent breathing down your * one off games enough I think.

    No there won't.

I'm extremely confident we'll win on Sunday but anything can happen in a one-off game. If anyone overlooked the massive strides we've made under Rodgers because of a bad result in a one-off cup game, that would be insane.

Roberts and griffiths must start, whether that means dropping dembele im not sure but griffiths who has been amazing does not deserve to be sitting on the bench

I agree with you. I think a defeat has helped us here.

I suppose there is no better way to bounce back than pumping these in Rodgers first game at Hampden and securing his first cup final appearance with us.

Who does then? Because Forrest has been quality for the vast majority of the games he has played in.
