My first impression of him is that he will prove to be decent back up for lustig but definitely not better than him

Think as well it's a tactical thing where you're asking the guy to push forward and get back to cover. For me that's maybe giving him too much work to do.

I go back to the age old argument of having a solid midfield, that means a right and left midfielder, it's how we got found out last season as well.

If you've got the wingbacks to do it fair enough, but i'm not seeing lots of evidence to suggest he's that white hot going forward which makes me think he'd be better off being used as a man marker, or a plain old right midfielder.

He was fine. Linked up well with Forrest a couple of times and put in one or two decent crosses. After the first sort of 25 minutes I barely remember him doing much.

Has great pace and can link up well with others but his final ball is awful.

Happy to give him more time but I don't think he's going to be anything more than a squad player.

Him and Forrest seemed to have a good thing going.

He looks like the love child of Nir Bitton and Emilio Izaguirre...

Thought he done well enough, Lustig is in no danger but he made a good few tackles as well as getting forward with Forrest a few times.

He done okay but far too many times he was 1 on 1 with 20 yards to run into and he turns back and passes, annoying but probably down to confidence. Positionally he is poor in terms of defending, caught out a few times but can see him improving.

I thought there were promising moments too. Others are right, he might still take a while to get up to speed defensively but as an attacking force he could be very exciting. Will take a good few games to judge him properly though and I wonder how many he'll be getting. Will he always be used before the CL games so Lustig can rest? That would give him time to get his act together.
