Fifa have just introduced a ban on poppy.The England FA is in discussions with Fifa in an effort to allow both England and Scotland to wear one during their upcoming encounter .

Absolutely. Never mind why on earth are the English and Scottish FA's so obsessed with wanting to do this stunt anyway.

 

They haven't just "introduced a ban on the Poppy" they are enforcing their rules on the ban of political symbols( or rather their sometime ban on Political symbols.)

 

The problem arises from their dubious reasoning as to what constitutes a 'political symbol' and the patchy enforcement of their so-called rules. It's either one standard for all or it's a free for all, they can't pick and choose when to issue edicts.
