Put Jozo on with the express order to give Aguero a good old fashioned clatter, put the * up into the air, take the booking, take him off and put Erik on, even the game up a wee bit. Simples <img src="http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" class="inlineimg" smilieid="211" border="0">.
Just put on a show Celtic and give your all. Thats all we ask.

In a way that's almost a good thing, it'll at least keep their defence pinned back slightly rather than get caught on the break.

Beer Sheva away was a great indicator of how both play in the 4-2-3-1 system - most likely formation tonight - with less possession than the opposition. Griffiths is reliant on service and as a result of the poor support was pretty ineffectual, Dembele then came on and started winning balls in the air, carrying the ball forward and was unlucky with one that whistled by the post.

I personally think Brendan has went a bit too far in showing respect. There's showing respect then there's just admitting we have no chance if they're at the top of their game, which he has.

Fair enough say they're a great side with terrific players playing under a great manager in great form, by all means say that as it's true. But don't say even if we play at the top of our game at Celtic Park on a CL night with our atmosphere under the floodlights we have no chance even at our best, not even in public.

This isn't Barca in the Nou Camp we're playing (Who we still managed to carve open a couple times in the 1st half with the Pen and offside goal which could have made it a different game had Dembele buried it and Sinclair timed his run better). Man City are a team still trying to establish themselves in Europe (Even though they made the CL semi's last season), there players have never played in such an intense atmosphere before, they are also missing one of their best players in KDB.

Just think Brendan could have been a bit more clever with his words that's all.
Dembele also brings great strengths defensively when we're defending set pieces etc. Seen him many times now clearing away danger from defence, Griffiths doesn't give you that.

No point debating it anyway because imo Dembele will 100% be starting this match with Griffiths on the bench.

You're either upping your trolling game or have took a hard bash to the skull recently.

Either way, we won't be all over Man City tonight.

Problem is his replacement Iheanacho is a top, top player and every bit as clinical in front of goal going by his stats.

Griffiths has shat himself on the penalty spot more times than any Celtic player I can remember, Demebele's work rate is good and he can do a lot more damage than Griffiths.

Too many times Griffiths has been posted missing in big games when we needed him to preform, Dembele is on fire just now and deserves his chance.

    Always does.

Reading the Man City forum it appears the closer it gets to the match a lot of their fans are starting to get more worried haha and think this will be a tough night for them, whereas a lot of our fans are now the opposite and thinking we can possibly do something. That's football for you and why we love the sport and love our club.

I really hope we turn this mob over tonight, and not just for the 3 points.

I've seen people in the media saying we have to work hard to keep the score respectable etc It would be a nasty surprise for the English if we did something tonight.
