Im going with 3-1 to city. Thats a fair result for us considering they beat EPL teams by that margin.

    Although... Im optimistically thinkin 2-2.

Come half 7... 3-0 to celtic, intae they over priced *!!!!

Would it be worth just getting the train to Glasgow on the off chance I can get a spare ticket?

Its an excellent game to see how we fair up to english football. City will probably win their league.

    I'd go with

    -------------Gordon
    ------toure--eric----sim
    Gamboa------------------tierney
    -----------Brown --bitton
    ----------------rogic
    -------dembelle----griffiths

Plently of defensive and attack in that team ,Forrest on for gamboa at some point

    Brown Bitton
    Forrest Rogic Sinclair
    Dembele

Griffiths and Roberts off the bench

What the manager says to the players privately is completely separate to what he says to the media.

Team picks itself for me. Rumours Jozo could be starting though so don't know where that leaves us. Will he replace Erik? Will we go 3 at the back? Is he fit enough to start such a big game? Its to much to take <IMG class=inlineimg border=0 alt=0 src="http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/images/smilies/players1/smiley-laughing002.gif" smilieid="259">.

I reckon he's more likely to bury a chance early doors than Dembele.

Not for me. Possession will be at a premium with the way Pep teams press and Dembele is at this stage better at holding up the ball and in the air. Added to that a likely lack of match sharpness, I think it would be mental to pick Griffiths over Dembele considering his rich vein of form.

    This..

So what, Brendan's fed them a couple of ego nibbles via the media. We'll absolutely be going out to get something tonight, and i believe he'll 100% be drumming the player's up for a win..

He hasn't even said anything wrong. If United were on their A game then Saha score's the penalty and we don't win. If the heavens don't open up and Dida spills a measly Broony effort then we don't beat Milan etc. We'll always need a touch of lady luck and a 1 or 2 thing's to go our way when up against it... But you better believe it happens, and very much could do tonight..

I have a feeling we'll get a draw, and we'll feel hard done-by when we get it. Got a feeling we'll be all over them.

Griff has the experience and he can spend a split second on the ball and take a long range shot. Which is what its going to take.
