    Good analogy that actually <img smilieid="259" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/images/smilies/players1/smiley-laughing002.gif" border="0">

I can't decide if I expect us to be competitive and even take something for the game or expect us to get shafted - Aguero is more than capable of putting a few past us himself. Honestly if this was Pelligrini in charge as opposed to Pep, I would be quietly confident that we would take something.

Brandan has confirmed that Craig Gordon will be in goals, De Vries not 100%.

Not 100% a goalkeeper? Got that right. :56:

He reminds of the kid who always gets picked to be goalie in school; not very good, but tries his best, but lets in loads of goals, anyway.

all the pressure on Citeh, nobody outside of our fanbase expects anything but a win for them,, most expensive club in the EPL/ UK and we are not in the same class..

much will depend on the ref.. if he allows the game to actually be played with tackles not punished for the slightest infringement then we have a chance.

not getting my hopes up, realistic about getting anything from the game but if we play to our best we can win.. it will not end in a draw - too much at stake for both clubs.

just hope Gordon concentrates on saving shots and forget about playing like a sweeper keeper.. keep it simple..

Another start like in Barcelona and another humiliation it will be. Get to 30 mins without conceding and anything can happen.

You realise Brendan Rodgers isn't right about absolutely everything, right?

Imagine our manager trying to talk up our chances and put belief into the players. :87:

Doesn't mean it is a realistic reflection of our chances tomorrow and you know it, for all the reasons I mentioned above (none of which you have even tried to answer BTW).

I'm not the only one I know who thinks that. He was poor in the air at the back post and also for playing people onside. I had a friend who was a Man Utd fan who absolutely hated him.

    Decent going forward TBF.

Not really, mate. I actually used to watch the EPL and Neville was a defensive liability whilst Carrick was extremely mediocre. Maybe Carrick has improved with experience, I have no idea about that, but back then he was definitely nothing special.

I never once suggested it was a reflection of our chances and neither did Brendan Rodgers.

Then why do you keep quoting the figure like it means something?

Because, as I've said every time you've tried to disregard the stat, we need to try and keep that record going :56:
