Need a big performance from the keeper tomorrow night to have any chance at all.

Personally I hope so, mate. Is De Vries definitely out? You never know which Craig Gordon is going to turn up, but we do know that he has that kind of performance in him on his day. I've seen nothing from De Vries so far to suggest he is capable of that. He looks less prone to * ups than Gordon but also less capable of big saves.

It's always weird in these games. My head is telling me we have no chance and not to get my hopes up; but as the game gets closer, my heart starts telling me that we have a chance against anyone at home and that a result is possible.

The psychology of it is weird.

He was brought in during the summer to replace Efe in the backline, but luckily with O'Connell coming through the ranks and Jozo coming back from injury, we haven't needed to play him.

If it's a draw at half time then I believe we can clinch it

Its gonna be wet tomorrow. Is Pep going to risk his high profile players when he has such a big match against Spurs on Sunday?

It's like the opposite of playing the Huns :smiley-laughing002: Think it will be * easy and as the game gets closer I start thinking 'but *, anything can happen in these games, what if what if what if..'. This has been 'we're getting pumped,' but as the games got closer, 'what if they get an early red card, what if we score a flukey goal early on, what if what if..'.

As long as they don't score more than Barca did I think I'll get through the night without being put on suicide watch.

Or maybe we'll sneak it 1-0?

Carrick is 35 and there is a widely held belief he is still Man Uniteds best midfielder. Better than the most expensive footballer of all time.

Neville was undoubtedly world class IMO, a trailblazer in terms of proper wing back play. Heinze was actually the weakest of the 3 for United but still, you don't play for United, Madrid and Argentina for years as a 'weak link'.

So in other words, you're scraping the barrel.

I think we learned a few lessons from Barca, we will increase our intensity, make more tackles, and be more competitive. It should be a cracker.
