I think Roberts will probably do more damage to teams but Forrest has earned his place, if he's not done much by HT we can bring on Roberts.

Roberts needs a good performance to get back into contention he's had a wee half chance in the 2/3 games he's had back but been quiet by his usual standards so he cant complain.

I think we should play a 4-2-1-3, with the defence choosing itself, Brown and Bitton sitting in front of them, Rogic a bit further up the spine, and a front three of Sinclair, Dembele and Griffiths.

Back Celtic, don't encourage abuse towards people's families.

This isn't any inside info mate, I would just hit every pub for one pint and ask about. If nothing hit the next one and so on.

I'm sure you will pick one up if you are there all afternoon.

Are you off your nut? Like seriously are you wired wrong or something?

You would drop Forrest and play Griffiths wide right? :97:

With the way City play we will not be able to play a high pressing game, they will have more of the possession. Don't think this is a game for Rogic, we will need to stifle the midfield and catch them on the break.

Any team has a chance of beating anyone. We can come away with a win or a draw, need to play to our absolute best, and take our chances. It can happen. First CL group stage game in 3 seasons, Brendan Rodgers at the helm, Manchester City flying high. Could be a perfect storm for a special night at Celtic Park imo. 1-0 Celtic.

Big Tam has to play, was fair to leave him out Barca as we needed to break at pace but against City at home we'll need to attack them a fair bit and keep the ball in their half and Dembele and Rogic will be key for that as they can bounce off players and control it under pressure or turn players and get away from them.

Rogic is also the sort of player who could skelp one in from long range like Coulibaly did to us or McFadden V France.

Rogic has to play, absolutely. We need as many ball carriers, and more importantly, calm in possession player's as possible..

Has that bit of magic that we need..

Think if we're to get something (which I think we can), we'll have to score the first goal..

Just got off the phone with Craig Levein and he is recommending that we go with a 5-5-0:

    Gordon
    Lustic Simunovic Toure Sviatchenko Tierney
    Forrest Broony Bitton Armstrong Sinclair

That way we can have our cake and eat it, i.e. play five at the back and have three in central midfield. I reckon it would catch them by surprise, they'll never expect that.

Agree about Rogic. His composure on the ball could see us preventing them from constantly attacking and ease the pressure on our defence.

Not saying Rogic shouldn't play because he is not good enough, quite the opposite he is getting better as his fitness increases. But the way city play he won't get time on the ball or space to run through the middle or pick out passes. We will need players who can dig in and be closer to the defence, playing Armstrong gives us an extra player in that midfield area. Griffiths likes to drift out wide dragging defenders with him giving Sinclair the space to run into with his pace. Dembeleaguered the better option later to hold the ball up.

A 4-2-1-3? I really cant see that working lad- we would get torn apart. Griffiths wide right to? No forrest or roberts. Forrest is in great form.

We have such a hostle crowd, that will pressure even their most experienced team. Even if we conciede early, we shouldn't lose heart in our singing.

A quick look on their forums and our atmosphere is something they are commenting on.

Basically they will pump us rotten or we will prove difficult.

A win or a draw will be massive as it will be Guardiolas first.

    Absolutely..

Only thing concerning me is Brendan played him for the full 90 yesterday, so may not start him on Wednesday. Hope I'm wrong..

    They are in terrific form.

Will take an almighty performance here and I just can't see it. Not expecting much so I think we should have a go.

    post from that BlueMoon site

We could play the women's team against Celtic and get at least a draw.
