We are missing a good midfield enforcer in the likes of Wanyama, but I'm like others here, I find myself hopelessly optimistic.

Double chance with btts home or away at 9/5 is my bet

Most bizarre build up to a CL game I can remember. I don't expect anything at all from this game and feel pretty much no nerves going into it. Given that it's our first game in the group stages we've also got everything to play for regardless of the result.

If the team goes out, works hard, maintains their discipline and shape and are brave on the ball I'll be happy. Avoiding a hiding would also be nice.

Alaves winning on Saturday, I would expect a big reaction from Barcelona. I fear we're in for a bit of a chasing as a result.

It's going to be massively different from a normal Celtic games but I would like to see positivity in our performance. Looking to continue in the fashion we have seen from the team in recent weeks and not totally forgo the way we've played.

No pressure on us at all going into this game, a draw would be incredible!

Stuck a fiver on the Hoops to win @35/1.

Would be over the moon with a draw though.

Dembele to score anytime @6/1 is also a bit tempting.

I went to look at our lineup when we played against Barca under Lenny in the CL. Out of the registered for CL only Lustig featured (and started) in all 4 games. Efe of course played in all 4 as wel. Broony (he missed the 2-1 win, cause he was ill if I remember correctly), Izzy, Bitton, Forrest and Commons featured too.

3 at the back is the right way to go, fill the middle of the park and force them out wide onto the wing backs.

Roberts and Sinclair will be invaluable in getting us up the pitch and hopefully some free kicks as set pieces we should be able to dominate.

Not nervous, don't expect to get anything, if we avoid a hammering I'll be happy

Right lads, bit of perspective here:

We know we are on a hiding to nothing tonight, you cannie expect to come up against the best team on the planet and get anything points-wise.

What we must take away from tonight is an expectation of desire, commitment and total effort from all of our players, and hope that we can take all of the experience tonight as a learning curve for players like Tierney et al.

Like the look of that team. Roberts,Sinclair and Dembele can give us good options on the counter and help relieve the pressure.
