So we've paid up front the £60m you say we'll be responsible of paying, how are you basing that figure on?

And by your calculations PL * up badly on season tickets and sponsors, lol. Was that an online glitch like you get on travel websites.

There was me thinking i read that the manager had available the whole lot of the champions league money they were bringing in, just thought he would a spent more than 1% of it :87:

Where would we be without this CL money, ICC money & cashing in on players??Take that revenue stream of £40million out the equation how would we even make it through the season? The question is we would & easily. You're painting a bleak picture & it's just not the case. Their is money to spend there, without question.

    One slack pass.

    Don't exaggerate.

One slack pass? Are you joking? He booted the ball upfield the whole 2nd half and never hit a Celtic player. Craig Gordon does that?

I see a lot of comments from my post

    And I ask again

The new Central Midfielder would have to replace Brown. Who would make that call two months into his tenure at the club? Who would that player be? What would the effect on the dressing room be?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but this is a serious point.

Also when I said first teamers I meant guys who regularly were in the squad and on the pitch, not sitting in the stand

Craig Gordon regularly punts it out for a throw in. De Vries was accurate, unfortunately our only tall players were Dembele (who barely challenged for any headers) and Bitton who doesn't like going for headers full stop.

Only so much the 'keeper can do.

No, he would have replaced either Bitton or Rogic depending on the formation.

Ah well I'm not too fussed really, we're unfortunately probably going to finish 4th in the group regardless of who we'd have signed rather invest the money next year.. Doubt we will though.

Why would he need to replace Brown?

not that smart are you, its bigger than basic "sums"

see no one has bothered to look at last years figures and comment on the balance, existing debt (yes guys we carry debt in the club) turnover, revenue and expenditure. these are the very basics before you go into the more complex. does seem quite simple when you look at it without any experience in the business area but believe me it is not.

Don't know, someone who wants to better the team?

For talking sakes, let's say, for instance, out the 'blue', some new manager comes in and brings in a for instance, goalie? And send out his goalie and captain away to a team, for example to Italy on loan?

I know it's far fetched, but could happen..........................

Why would he have to replace Brown?

    ............................De Vries

    Gamboa....... Toure ..........Sviatchenko....... Tierney

    .........................New Midfielder

    ..............Brown....................... Rogic/Bitton

    Roberts ....................................................Sinclair

    ...............................Griffiths

    FFS the spacing didn't work

PS the midfielder could be attacking or defensive at either side of the 2 other CMs

Joe Hart had been * Jordan and was also not as good as some believed and nowhere near as good as the hype
