    Yes mate, according to the list I have he is a free agent and has reasonable wage demands that we could easily afford. He could very possibly make our midfield stronger.

    Our situation and the situation the Huns were in are in no way comparable. We've just raked in £40million+ over the last two months. We are not on the verge of administration. If Brendan wants/needs a midfielder then the board should * well go and get him one.

    They'll tell us we should be grateful to them because they brought in Brendan Rodgers. Yeah that's great. But if they think Brendan Rodgers can topple Barcelona or Man City with Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong in midfield then they are sadly mistaken. Brendan's a football manager, not a miracle worker.

    Disappointing if we don't get McCarthy in but the board should of had at least two or three back up targets which we should of moved on too because this is looking ever so unlikely now at this rate. Decent window overall probably our best in years but were crying out for DM.

    the transfer has been a load of pish. the media can amp up the frenzy all they like, but they've been repeating the same * for weeks and living off the pogba, ibrahimovic story over and over again. having to listen to hart, jack wheelchair, and luiz stories for hours on end isnt what i would consider exciting. i couldnt care less that the total transfer amount is over a billion. who gives a * - after all..when you take away the millions that the big guns have spent, its still nowhere near the amount quoted, and unless they gave a breakdown as to where they get that figure, then they could in effect be quoted any old *. next season 2 billion...whatever
