    We can't force players to come no but we should be able to identify weak positions in the team and then target 3/4 possible replacements for that position ,especially having secure Champions league money and going into a difficult group,and it shouldn't need to go to deadline day to do this either.

    We will be * out of the CL anyway FFS. We have practically zero chance in that group even with a new CM. The point is, CM seems to be the one position that is definitely weak. Johansen out, Mulgrew out, nobody in. Seems like a blunder, but I think Rogic has a lot to offer. Relying on Brown's form and fitness is poor planning.

    Aye, to shock the football world would take Messi moving to someone or someone like Bale signing for Everton or something.

    A neverhasbeen injury prone player whos not kicked a ball in years going on loan to a worse team in the same League is something youd expect.

    I think you're arguing my point tbh. All the figures are conservative and still amount to more than £50 million and that's without taking into account other things like row Wanyama money or merchandise :50:
