    Like everyone else i'd love to see us strengthen in key areas primarily a playmaker for CM. But if we don't get one in it doesn't strike me as we haven't tried. It's never as simple as ones saying we have £20 Million coming in spend X amount.

    BR will have his targets and could be any number of reasons why a deal isn't done. No doubt some will be using any excuse to bash Lawell and the board but i'm not ready yet anyway to believe they are not willing to invest what we can afford and I believe it will only be on players BR wants. If we have to wait until the January window then so be it.

    There's not a hope in * Celtic are willing to just accept we are in the CL and won't be good enough to get anywhere and take the attitude we'll not buy anyone.

    Why some are assuming we will get pumped in the group stages is beyond me. On paper yes that maybe is what should happen. But think back even in 1967 and since in many, many European campaigns we have been the underdogs and many a predicted hammering has seen us emerge as the * winners. Nights and games like that are what I want to see and hopefully will.
