    Would have loved a quality midfielder, we defo need one but I don't think it's happening now . Hope when i wake in the morning we have signed one . Hope BR is happy with what he's got in so far .

    Reminds me the same as last year around this time entering September with Griffiths and Ciftci as our main strike force. It's been a good window but absolutely criminal a decent CM has not been signed.

    How much have we actually spent though? Champions League money, sold players, Wanyama fee, ICC pre season money, increase in ST sales, higher attendances early on in the season, the 10 mil a season we were losing without Rangers presumably back and we're still * useless in the middle of the park.

    I'm happy with all the signings we have made, but our midfield is an embarrassment going into the champions league.

    Bitton, Brown, McGregor and Armstrong are nowhere near CL quality. Unless Ajer turns out to be brilliant and Henderson has a major impact our midfield is gonna be completely ripped to shreds.

    Very poor by the club to fail to get deals over the line after qualifying for the champions league. Its well known we count on that money to do some business mostly around deadline day. Im holding out hope but thats hope not expectation. What the * happened with hernanes?

    That's just one game, in difficult conditions, where we set our stall up all wrong. We were *, absolute dung on the night but still managed to qualify for the champion's league. That alone tells you there's improvement, nevermind the blitzing home performance, knocking out a more than decent Astana side, and generally upping our game to the point every side in Scotland is now * a brick about our pace and attack. Rewind 6 month's ago and everyone wanted a piece of us..

    We've signed a keeper Brendan was dying for and knows. Poty last year. I'm sure he'll be an improvement..

    We've signed an established international first team right back who is a flying machine. I think we already know he's a big upgrade on Janko, and Brendan is slowly nudging Lustig in one, although that'll be a good battle for right back now..

    If your stalling and unhappy you are deadwood. Johansen unfortunately had that mindset. Mulgrew wanted a longer contract but Brendan didn't fancy him and Allan was never getting a look in. Stokes was let go, Fisher was let go. We tried to let Simunovic go. Scepovic punted, Cole out, Ckr bombed as well. We've papped out plenty that Brendan didn't want..

    It's a harder process than it looks. The first phase as I'll call it, hasn't gone too bad at all. Could it be better? Always, but it's a good start..

    What does it matter how much we've spent?

    We've brought in 5 players - 6 if you want to include Ajer, who have/will improve the team, and have helped us reach the Champions League at the 3rd time of asking.

    Aye, I wanted a midfielder of some sort tonight (might still happen, window for us doesn't close until 12am tonight), but I'm delighted with the players we've brought in, and delighted with the dross we have chased thus far.
