Rodgers is not the type of man/manager to be dictated to by someone like Lawwell.

I'm pretty sure his bumper contract that made him the highest paid manager in Scottish football history would have been based on him having the final say on everything in relation to his team.

Brendan seems VERY hands on with all aspects of the club/squad.

 

He usually states the club are doing what they can to help him and he's happy with the support so far.

 

It's a good feeling knowing Brendan is in charge now and not Lawell, takes a bit of getting used to tho! :icon_mrgreen:

That's a guess in the papers who generally exaggerate the fees.

This guy was not signed for West Brom by Pulis and he has only made 1 appearance (89 minute sub!) since Pulis became manager. Pulis has made it clear that he is not his type of player - (dour + defensive).

I think he'll be good for Celtic - similar to Agathe. Certainly an improvement on Janko and frankly Lustig's future is either in the centre or playing 45 mins at RB - he doesn't have the fitness or stamina for 90 mins at RB in a really competitive match any more.

I'd be happy to see this guy at Celtic and, given that Pulis wants him out of West Brom, I think Celtic could probably get him for 500 - 650k.

I'm also glad to see that Brendan wasn't prepared to be blackmailed by Liverpool over Wisdom. Certainly wasn't worth the 2 - 2.5 million figure that was being thrown around.

 

Agreed. Remember that full backs need to have speed, Most tall guys don't have that.
