Jesus Christ, the reaction in here by telling facts, not surprising. Some can't handle reallty.

It doesn't matter if it was 10 years ago, it happened and it highlights inconsistency, that doesn't insinuate he WILL be inconsistent ALL the time it just wont surprise me if he shows it with us as its already happened in his career.

Since logic doesn't apply to a good section of our support I just hope he is worth that investment, its small aye but low risk doesn't apply when hes being touted as our #1. I don't buy into this mentality of since hes a small fee its low risk anyway, if thats how people see it then its sad that standards are willing to be dropped because its a low fee. Like every investment we pull in at any fee I hope we get our value or more than our value for money, I know some don't which baffles me but thats me. See, the thing is I want the very best for us, I see inconsistency I will call it out, if a players * I will call it out. If some don't like that fact fair enough, theres no logic to pass it off like it never happened like a bubble mentality. What you get on the Park is what you get its as simple as that and I hope as I have stated now for the second time that he is worth the investment.

It doesn't matter if it was 10 year ago? So players don't improve? :smiley-laughing002:

He was excellent for Swansea and has been excellent at Forest. Get a grip

What? Show me where I stated they don't improve. :97: I have just stated and this will be for the second time that during his career he has shown to be inconsistent and it wouldn't surprise me if I see him being inconsistent with us. I know deep down thats hard for you to completely comprehend, instead resorted to get all hurt and emotional and assume for some daft reason that players don't improve :56: Incredible.

Since he was excellent for Swansea and Forest I need to get a grip, no problem. :smiley-laughing002:

Can't believe I have to say this mate, players generally improve as they grow older. And all signs point to De Vries having developed into a excellent GK over the last 10 years :50:

Why would what he done 10 years ago at Dunfermline, where he was actually very highly rated, be relevant now when he's shown since that he's good?

    Does it? Alright then.

I don't agree with Minimalist so I will resort to an ad hominem because I disagree with him.

Type, by the way. So close but made a * of it :50:

It's becoming very clear that people don't judge players by watching them anymore, just a click of the internet check their stats, check the forum of the selling club or stuff like that and their mind is made up.

    Yes, it does.

The fact you brung up a 1 year spell at Dunfermline 10 years ago where he actually played out his skin is completely irrelevant to the player he is now. By originally stating how he had "conceded 55 goals" you were trying to be a smart * to get your point across.

Enough of this 'ad hominem' * as well, is that your phrase of the month? You never stop using it.

It doesn't make you look clever, just an *.

They do aye, thanks for the education mate.

None that I can see, why? Did I say he was like? Serious like did I actually say he was outside his Dunfermline career?

I have already stated. Can't be arsed typing up the same * over and over.

If he has only shown inconsistency in his Dunfermline days as you have said, why would it suddenly creep back into his game after ten years. It has clearly been stamped out

Irrelevant? That is so perplex that I am struggling to take you seriously, in fact I can't even be bothered continuing to discuss him in this thread with you when you're stating that. I bet you think I just use ad hominem out of nothing as well. I better stop it though because Monaghan is had enough of it :smiley-laughing002:

Did I stated that it would suddenly creep back? I stated and I will type it the third time as some in here keep getting all hurt and emotional as they can't accept reality that I wouldn't be surprised if it does. But then again, go ahead and show me where I stated that it suddenly would creep back (which is impossible given I never stated it). But I fully expect you to try and go ahead like the rest and assume more nonsense.

For someone who doesn't like repeating the same * over an over you certainly like running this "hurt and emotional " line.

    ad hominem
