Don't get this 'Underwhelmed' stuff from Celtic fans.
[EDIT] He has NOT played for his Country..... [EDIT]
A VERY DECENT Championship level keeper.
His old team, and fans are GUTTED to lose him.
Was Player of the season for Nottingham Forrest last year...
He was also in the 'Championship Team of the Year'

This is a step up in Goalkeepers.
This lad is confident and READY to play high profile game.
Gordon can be SUPERB, but I think all these season's playing with Ambrose in-front of him has turned him into an 'Alive Ghost' almost....
Like when we used to say about the 'Queen Mothers * being Haunted'

    Quality keeper....

Might be wrong but looks to me like he will be back up to Gordon. I would rather we had signed a keeper to replace him straight away. Thought we had moved away from signing the cheaper option squad players.

Sorry not more excited about a 35 year old who has played most of his career in the championship or league one . Has played 4 games in the premiership, no international caps never played a euro tie . Think we should be aiming higher than a guy who " can do a job" . Hope i am proved wrong and he plays a blinder.

Brendan was saying after the game that the only player he was more disappointed in losing than De Vries was Suarez. Looks like he's going to be No.1

Definitely new first choice, and thank *, the thought of Gordon in massive European games makes me nauseous.

Not exactly a significant investment. Low risk, possible high reward :50:

Can't be a low risk investment if he gets the #1 shirt? After all he couldn't keep out 55 goals when he was at Dunfermline.

Low risk in terms of fee. He has vastly improved as a GK since his Dunfermline days, 10 years ago ffs :smiley-laughing002:

You originally said "Hope he is worth the investment" so in fairness anyone would take that as you meaning you hope he is worth the money, which Thumb did.

His spell at Dunfermline was 10 year ago, I don't see why folk keep bringing it up. Kasper Schmeichel and Tim Krul couldn't stop Falkirk getting pumped and ultimately relegated but they still went on to do alright.
