I trust Brendan with this signing.

Would have been over the moon with Vorm, but hey, at least we now have someone in that the manager knows and will challenge Gordon for the no.1 jersey.

I wonder if this means Bailly will be punted quickstyle.

A few numbers rolling around but I believe it's £400k. Solid price for a good quality keeper.

Welcome big man, hope he has a great couple years and does well for us. Certainly needed someone else in that position.
I would like to think both bailly and fasan (although I want fasan to succeed here). Unless we see something a bit left field and he punts bailly and gordon, promotes fasan to number two and learn from the new guy.

Surely Fasan will be loaned out this season to see if he can cut it. I also want Fasan to be our future #1 but no one has really seen him play enough to tell yet. As for Bailly, I won't be surprised if he's sold or released once he's back from injury, but I could also see him getting loaned as well and maybe given a chance next year. Gordon and De Vries are 33 and 35 respectively so he still has time on his side.

He was good enough for a Jim Leishman Dunfermline side so he will do nicely. Jim Leishman always had a good eye for a player.

According to @AgentScotland (Inside the SPFL) the fee was £350k on a 2 year deal. The only credible twitter account I follow. Very rarely comments on transfer talk, mostly speaks opinion on Scottish football as a whole, unbiased which is nice.

35 isn't that old for a keeper and he's not had a bad career personally.

Could push Gordon for number 1 spot, I trust Rodgers in his recruitment but I think I would have preferred a younger keeper with a similar blue print as Forster, young, underrated and can't get first team football except for loans.

Can't wait to see him in goals could always be our Lubo of goalkeepers.

    For who?

We're getting a guy in who the manager knows can do a job for relatively * all.

Better than spunking a few mill on an unknown who you HOPE is good enough.

I hope not, don't think my heart could take it if he tried to trap the ball with his * on the goal line...

Has he been signed as backup? Because that's what I'd assume...bit of an opportunity missed in a lot of ways, as he's 36 in a couple months and we could use a young 'keeper challenging Gordon. Oh well.
