And i would be even more disapointed watching a couple of bad injuries wreck our chances on Wednesday

i'm sure tickets for this were about £20-30. Hardly top dollar, gves a chance for Irish fans to go to the games.

Kind of agree with him to an extent, as it must be frustrating to have your own competitive game postponed to accommodate another team.

In saying that, since it's Alan Archibald - get it up him. * has a go at us for anything.

Twenty to thirty quid is a lot of money to see the second 11 mate ,
I know we do not want to incur any injuries before our very important game on Wednesday night but in my personal opinion it is exploiting the fans .
Would everybody have bought a ticket if they new there would be no first team players turning out ?

As you said i'm sure the fans would have known the champions league dates before buying tickets. There are cons but the pros massively out weigh them.

Not our fault though, we take advantage of the rules in place. Other teams could organise similar friendlies. Plenty teams wanting some match fitness this time of year.

Celtic being involved in such a prestigious, wealthy, tournament is good for Scottish football.

The main issue with Scottish football in general is the fact no * can see past the end of their own nose, Archibald included.

This hasn't creeped up on him he's known about it for months. So suck it up.

    * him. We play in a no mark league where there's next to no money coming in. If we are able to reap the financial rewards of having a worldwide fanbase and global brand then by * we should take it. If his pishy wee club were given the chance they would be all over it. Heard the same pish off that Richard Gordon on Sportsound prior to our game with barca, trying to rubbish the game but we all know if his Aberdeen got the chance he would be salivating over it. Jealously oozing out every pore.

Terrace tickets cost 15 euro which accounts for 10,000 people and the other 15,000 are seated tickets which cost between 25 to 35 euro.

Not if you bought tickets a couple of months ago mate .
There is a difference between a weakened team and playing the second or third 11 .

Cheers mate :50:, not really as overpriced as said then, and end of the day paying fans have a choice either go or watch it on the TV, either way the club are getting extra dosh which is vitally needed these days

Well the fans as you said will have known this was in between a massive play off round, so surely they should have known that is taking priority over a friendly

Yes if you bought it a couple of konths ago, these ones into the season and any friendly in general is very rarely a full strength side.

Personally I like seeing the second string and youngsters testing themselves against more established players.

Celtic are bigger than this * league and its * clubs, we can do whatever the * we want. Clubs like Partick Thistle are privileged to be in the same league us, we'll play you whenever we * feel like it.
