Why not just go and support the team and leave all the bull * out of it. Take Celtic flags not Palestinian flags. We are there to support Celtic not Palestine. It's a footbal match after all

You are starting to make me hate Victor Wanyama with the amount of times I've seen his face associated with utter * posts. I never thought that could be possible. I can't wait until the schools go back so you don't have as much time to post on here.

If a Celtic fan takes a Palestinian flag and the club gets fines, I hope the club take the fool(s) to Court for costs. This is a £20M+ game, this is no time to use Celtic Football Club as a Political statement...

Although, I must admit...And feel free to delete this. I do stand with the people in Palestine. American Christianity Will Happily Keep Palestine Occupied. Why? are REALLY bad at this, they allow this * to keep happening through their 4,000 Religions or 4,000 different variations of Christianity and bibles that tell them Palestinians should be in Jordan. These fanatical Christians time travel at 88Mph to show a hatred so evil that they are going to * by default, but don't get why. The daily Genocide MUST stop, but we can't do it through the Football Club, there are other ways to tell the World how we feel. I understand the pain and anger that some of our fans feel about the oppressed in Gaza, but risking CL Football with some flags is stupid.

Keep it real pheeps..Nobody has written more about this issue than me [That I can see] I got hate mail, death threats [Yeah] from SUPPOSED IDF. One thing that gets me is, American's, the idiot ones say "They are Scum" .."They are Dogs"..."They started it"...."They deserve to Die"...
...Yet they had a 'DEMOCRATIC ELECTION IN VOTING IN HAMAS"??...Makes no sense right? Most in Gaza totally dislike Hamas. As in Isreal many believe the Israeli Governent to be wrong. But American News does not show this side of the story. Blah, Blah, I know....

    Just my 2c

Why I stand in #Solidarity with Palestine

^ Again, delete if someone wants to, but we must show our feelings at the right time, Celtic football club can't be a vehicle to show anger or hatred at this awful, daily killing of innocence, and know not all Isreali's are with the IDF on this one... Education on this is key, but 3,000 year old books keep these people land-locked and used as guinea pigs for things like white phosphorus, and a LOT more...

Come on Celtic, get this tie won and move on..... :celt_2:

I think if I was one of them, travelling here, they know we have Dangerous players, we are now playing with no fear. They are new at this level, Celtic are not. We have the upper hand regardless of who we start tomorrow night. I think if we can get an early goal, the fans get going, we could end the tie tomorrow. Rodgers is the man, he has signed players who lose no sleep at the thought of this game and we do have players of our own who have played in bigger games. Focus on what Celtic have, let them worry about us. The Scottish Football Media will always try to make us $h1t ourselves by stating 'Who is good' or 'Where we might lose'

Turn the coin around and know where and how we can punish them. They got a good result last round, but they walk into the unknown, we walk into the known as a club, as fans, as players. We will do this. We just need to stay together on this one.

It wouldn't be bullshit if you and your family were the ones under attack every day of your lives. We're not 'just' a football club. Celtic and politics are intertwined, always have been, always will be, whether you like it or not.

I personally won't be taking a Palestine flag but you have no right to argue with anyone who chooses to. It's a flag of a country. It would be beyond illegal for us to receive any sanctions. After all, we get politics forced upon us at games throughout the year so why should people be denied the right to fly a flag to show solidarity with Palestine if they want to?

Understand what you're saying but if there's a chance we're going to get fined for it, then he does have a right to argue with someone over it.

This one is going to sell out going by the stadium planner.

Half the sections in ground now sold out and only limited availablity with the rest.

I do think a packed Celtic park will make all the difference!

    Too many going off topic.

Keep the political side of things for the HPR section. This thread is for the match only.

You've got to ask why UEFA deem this as an offence ? Why is the Palestine flag seen as fine worthy of worthy of anything that follows a fine ? That's the real question and problem here

So your wanting to leave solidarity with another country on a world wide to scale audience who will see it and will be spoke a it go a miss because Celtic will get a "fine" that isn't coming out your pocket and will more or less be * penny's to them

As I've said you've got to question why it is deemed as an offence why it is different to any other flag... Don't give me the reason behind taking them is the offence to provoke or whatever that's a * reason! And if it was the case every club would be fined

I don't want to take the thread off topic but I also think it's not an offence tbh and you couldn't be penalised for it imo. Maybe it could be seen as a taunt or dig at the Israeli fans, who aren't all murderers - it could also endanger our fans when we go over there.

Anyway * all that, it's still a game of football and we will need to be at our best (as we seen v Motherwell) to get the result we need. 2-0 the hoops!

It depends on the exact context, it could be seen as a breach of the peace if you were waving it at them and shouting abuse or whatever but that is a matter for the police and the judicial system not UEFA.

I'm expecting the best atmosphere in years tomorrow night. Hopefully the players will rise to the occasion under BR. Too many times under Ronny the team killed the atmosphere with pathetic performances.

It's because it's a political expression and UEFA don't allow it. They want every one to pay their money, turn up and sit on their hands.

Not sure why we can't just all look forward to the match.
If you don't normally take a Palestinian flag to the games then why bother going to the effort for this one?
