*. Think I clicked yes by mistake.

It's not acceptable to boo players, like some of the support did to Ambrose yesterday. It's a bit different at the end of a game where the fans are showing how * off they are with the team display imo.

Not a player or the team but the manager is fair game.

You're saying that its a team game he lets us down. No leadership in the world would change his ability. Contenders? Since when did we get the quarters, semis and final? The closest we were contending was 1980 against Real Madrid. You mean participating?

For all we know and it wouldn't surprise me he could score another own goal this wednesday or if we get through in the playoff which sees us miss out again the Champions League, but hey, its a team game and he wont hold us back as you claim.

Its beyond parody in here sometimes, honestly.

Take yesterday's goal for example ,what the * was janko doing why wasn't Gordon or the cb behind him screaming at Ambrose to leave it , 3 of our players players shirking their responsibilities in that passage of play who are bound to know at this point Ambrose is erratic and was in need of a bit of help. dropping Ambrose last year didn't get us through cl qualifiers

Janko wasn't at fault at that closing down it was Ambrose. Please learn Juego de Posición, watch our game against Barcelona over and understand why Ambrose was at fault. If Janko pulled out of the right side to close down he would have created a weak spot for Ambrose to cover (which he doesn't have the intelligence to process, this was demonstrated during his other own goal against Dundee United in 2012). It was nothing to do with screaming for players to leave it or whatever, Ambrose went for the interception which he couldn't handle (which is a duty by definition of being a defender ).

You're right dropping Ambrose last year didn't get us through it was a lack of investment into the Football department.

I've saw it before when Celtic have played in Ireland. Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea fans come out as Celtic 2nd team fans. Turn up to the game wherever it may be in Ireland and get on like they are the biggest fans and dish out criticism. Annoying.

No. It was sad to hear the booing. I'm not a fan of Ambrose but no need at all to boo.

It's sad how modern football is going.

It's bad enough reading how people speak on Internet forums, but there's too much displeasure being voiced at games.

The old "twelfth man" is now the opposite. Getting on player's backs clearly unsettles players and causes more harm than good.

Disagree. Its frustrating watching a * player making the same mistakes over and over. You would think that would force our Management to change it, maybe?

It's not a fabrication. It is an interpretation.
I am pretty sure the Celtic fans were venting their displeasure at Brendan for selecting Ambrose once again, when he is a known serial offender of gaffes and blunders.
What message do you think that sends to youngsters like Ajer, Janko and Ralston trying to break through into the team ?

I've been going to games since I was a kid and I've always heard moans, groans and rants against players. It's hardly a product of modern football, to be fair.

In answer to your question yes. I think the manager, any manager is fair game in those circumstances.
Football has changed recently, and the fans of any club I think feel are more inclined to vent their feelings inwardly at the club and management if they feel their voices and opinions are being ignored.
Look at the Arsenal fans only last year with Arsene Wenger ?
Fan demonstrations, picket banners and boos against him too.
