I would never boo a player or the team, that being said I wouldnt be too angry if someone next to me bood the team after a string a * performances. If they bood an individual player I would be livid.

Those who think its acceptable, what do you think it achieves? Better performance from the player ? The manager is probably well aware the player is playing *.

Not acceptable in my opinion to single out one player.

Fans voice their frustration, generally its boos to the team at half time/end of a match, its to be expected.

Singling one player out is harsh though, more so in a friendly.

But then, Ambrose is a special talent. And to be able to make so many errors already this season, is something breathtaking. The club need to know the fans aren't happy, but in a friendly match as such is out of line. Other ways could be done to make our point heard, surely.

Just turning up doesn't equate to "supporting the team".

Yesterday's crowd was a casual one there's zero evidence it was Celtic fans booing Efe it could have been huns in disguise

Nocunt has ever performed better after being booed. Its the opposite of supporting your team. Hes pish but dont think brendan would play him if we didnt have soan injuries. We seem to always have players injured which is worrying

Fans need to show they're unhappy.
It must feel awful hearing it aimed at you but if you're constantly * then surely you must know it's coming.

Personoally I would be of the mindset no. Even if I am really unhappy with a player I just do not see how booing a player during a game does not hurt the team and that I would never want to do.

Mark Viduka refused to play for us when he was at us, our support praised him. You're right.

    Whats your point?

I don't think booing or shouting abuse at a player who is doing their best is helpful in anyway.

Viduka doesn't apply to the vast majority of cases

Voted no. I think booing the team is okay in certain instances, but individuals shouldn't be booed unless they're blatantly not trying or otherwise out of order.

Ambrose certainly shouldn't be booed. He needs support, not more pressure from his own fans.

My point is in the case of Viduka I feel that giving him a good vilifying shouting at when he refused to play for us was vindicated. After all don't we contribute to paying his wages? Awk its only our money anyway.
