Honestly baffles me that folk would still put brown and bitton on the same team. Its the most defensive minded play we have, two holding midfielders who tend to pass sideways or backwards for a safe pass.

Play just one of them and play attacking minded players like mcgregor, allan, rogic, Armstrong etc beside them.

We looked much better when Bitton came on in the first leg and at this stage we're ahead in the tie. No need to chase the match from the off.

A 4-3-3 is a nice balanced formation for us and it easily transforms into the 4-5-1 when we're not in possession of the ball.

Allan isn't good enough, Rogic is more of an impact player and Armstrong hasn't looked good at all thus far.

McGregor is certainly good enough and balances the 3 very nicely.

 

We are going through as it stands but we will be going all out at the start of this game to kill it off. Thats what Rodgers teams do. Loved watching how his liverpool team started games. The intensity and desire to get the ball and get forward was a joy to watch and I am starting to see it in the start of our games and will only get better

 

Likely to be a moot point for this Wednesday with Biton injured anyway.

 

I come back off holiday tomorrow any chance of getting tickets Wednesday morning?

 

People have been posting that sales have been slow. So if that's true you should get tickets no bother.

How do you approach this game if you are Rodgers? Sit in and play for the draw or play for the win but maybe concede?

Think this is where Deila struggled a lot, just thinking back to Malmö it was as if he sent the players out to do a bit of both

 

Can our defence keep a clean sheet? probably not so we have to play for the win

I reckon they will focus heavily on Roberts so for that reason alone I reckon whoever plays on the left could be vital they have to be on their game so we can batter them from both flanks and not just rely on the wee magician, hope we just fly out the blocks and have the crowd right behind us an blow them away.
