    At this stage, I'd be happy taking Ambrose and O'Connell off, moving Tierney and Lustig into the centre-back positions, and bringing on Janko and Izzy.

    He didn't need to play Ambrose.
    He had the option of playing Lustig and O'Connell at CB.
    Jitters are right through the team with Ambrose.
    You can see Gordon is fearful of him.

    1-1 would be the ideal result here at this moment, will be a great test of the character of the team to come through this and not be 2-0 down or worse. It's ties like this where you learn a lot about your team, can they come through adversity?

    Anyone get a replay of the penalty incident? The broadcasters in Kazakhstan don't seem to be too interested in showing it...

    Anyway, pretty * first half. Astana looked much more dangerous than us, breaking through our defence with their pace. Roberts has tried to make things happen but there's nobody really supporting him.

    We really need to step it up 2nd half or we'll lose by more than 1. Get Rogic or Allan on to provide something a bit different...

    Edit: Forgot Allan's not on the bench. Let's hope to * Forrest doesnae come on.

    He's not popular but Johnsen for Brown in the middle could make a difference in a game like this. At least we know he has a final ball in him when he's playing well. Also let's not forget we should have had a penalty and possible a red card for them.
