Their star ST is out injured. Without him, they look to have no real goal threat. Saying that they do have couple of very tidy technical players. We have to watch out for Nemanja Maksimović (who is in talks with Lyon) and Agim Ibraimi

Juve and Imps, it just shows you at any level of opposition he can't handle long balls.

    Lustig O'Connell Tierney

Back three I think Rodgers will field.

    4-2-3-1

    Janko, Lustig, O'Connell, Tierney
    Brown, McGregor
    Roberts, Armstrong, Izzy
    Griffiths

About as defensive as we can manage if broonie, Armstrong and Izzy play back from their positions. Gonna be hard to keep em out with the young lads in defence, but there's talent there too...

If that was the back three I would want two holding midfield players. Brown is a must for this game, so I'd like to see mcgregor alongside him. And with more of a licence for mcgregor to get forward between the pair.

Janko and izzy as the wing backs. We need to be more defensive than last weeks game, of Roberts and Forrest. Any type of draw here is a good result.

And then a front 3, with Roberts and dembele playing just behind griff. First because I think griff is more of a threat up top, but also because of the pace of the other two to break and get up to support griff. Dembele also looks to have good work rate to get back and help out the midfield.

Even interchanging between the 3 to keep their defence guessing wouldn't go a miss at times.

:50: That wouldn't be too bad at all considering who we have available.
Not sure about Izzy as a LW. Maybe a LWB in a 3-4-3, like the previous poster suggested?!

    -------------Gordon
    ------Lustig, O'Connell, Tierney
    Janko------------------------Izzy
    ----------Brown McGregor
    ------Roberts ------- Rogic / Armstrong / Dembele
    -------------Griffiths

Think this gives a better balance, and more of a scoring threat.
Only worry is that out of the back 3, one is very inexperienced and the other 2 are more naturally FBs.
We really are * at the back...4 CBs out injured is nuts!

I'm going with Efe Ambrose MOTM in a boring 0-0 away draw :50:

    Gordon
    Janko Lustig Efe Tierney
    Roberts Brown McGregor Armstrong
    Griff Dembele

Our defence should be ashamed man, how can literally 3 of the 4 main CB's be injured and this isn't a one time thing this happens a lot. Some things have to change because this really is getting unacceptable. For me Mulgrew can now * right off for not signing when the team needs him.

the guy i get the team info from says they have been setting up for this game with 3 at the back, lustig efe tierney.

if this is the case i would go with janko and izzy as wing backs in a 3-5-2.

I'm far from a fan of Ambrose, but jeez, the reaction in here is like someone has died.

...every little thing, gonna be alright

    Mulgrew: "I don't understand, I've already left..."

Celtic: "Right....okay....Well * off some more ya big *!!"

It cant be denied losing Erik is a * disaster 24 hours before one of our biggest games of the season. I wasnt optimistic before but now I am in panic mode. The only thing that is keeping me going is erik went off against Wolfsburg and we did ok- thats the only positive I have.

Back 3 would be suicidal now. The best centre half we have fit is actually a right back.

Keep it simple with a back 4.
