    :50: It's good timing that game. If all goes well he could be in the return leg next week when we'll need to prevent the away goal.

    That would be absolutely amazing :icon_mrgreen:

    Throw in the fact that it is the Kazakshtani league and it isn't as impressive.

    Still going to be tough mind.

    2-0. Going to be a tough ask to overturn that at CP, Paul. They score one away goal and we're *.

    :smiley-laughing002: Possibly.

    By the time last season finished my faith in Celtic was as low as it had been in 15 years. That is true. It'll take Brendan a bit of time to sort things out. I just think back to the Karagandy match over there, and the way we played in the first leg against the Red Imps, and I can see this being a disaster. I'll just be glad if we get out of there with the tie still being winnable. A draw would be tremendous.

    I understand that, mate. I like Ronny and a lot of what he was doing but I actually stopped watching last season. It was all just too disappointing for me to deal with at the same time as other issues I had.
    We're not going to improve overnight but I think the very fact of having tactical flexibility makes us harder to play now. I think it'll be tight but I'd have us as slight favourites over the two legs.

    I'd take a score draw in a second; not so sure about 0-0, though.

    I'm suddenly confident for some reason.

    * knows why. 2-1 Celtic.
