I don't think we'll be seeing any 3-5-2 formation from Rodgers in either of the legs.

    Gordon
    Lustig Ajer(new cb) Erik Tierney
    Brown McGregor Bitton
    Roberts Dembele
    Griffiths

Anything to nil will be a good result.

I think he would in the 2nd leg if we managed to lose over there by more than 1 goal.

Can't see it happening though... Confident of a positive result in both legs.

We have to show them the minimum respect seeing as they drew with Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Galatasaray at home, that is no mean feat.

An away goal would be very helpful. Even a 2-1 defeat would be retrievable in the return leg.

    It's a 3-5-2.

Any other formation be it like a 4-3-3 and Brendan won't be playing Roberts as he'll try to accommodate Griffiths and Dembele again.

They're a different team from the one they had last year, just like we were the season we played Karagandy and we had no Hooper, Wanyama or Kelvin Wilson. That would have been like Karagandy saying back then, we need to be careful of this team as they beat Barca and got into the last 16. What happened? Pumped 2-0 away from home as we were a completely different team to the previous year.

Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong are hardly great defensive players either, both give away possession and Brown fouls more than he tackles properly winning the ball back. Hopefully as I said Bitton is back and he can partner McGregor with Rogic just in front of them for his quality and defence splitting passes.
Yes, yes I am. They aren't the same team as they were last year which you seem to think so, hence why they barely scraped past Lithuanians just there, you're giving them far too much respect for what they achieved last season with a different team as a lot of those players they had last year have left.

You clearly don't if you think they're the same team. :smiley-laughing002:

    Cheers for that mate.

For some mad reason I would be disappointed in a draw, even though it'll probably be a good result in the grand scheme of things. I just hate the idea of us going anywhere and hoping for a draw if it's against a club that's nowhere near the size of us. Mind you that's me just being greedy, hopefully just a solid performance and an away goal or 2 and that can be considered a success. A win there would be magic, but taking into consideration the trip and the time difference blah, blah, blah, that could be even more difficult than it normally would be.

This will be a real tough tie over the two legs. I would take a goalless draw over there and bring it back to Celtic Park.

Don't say that. Hammer says I'm a parody of myself. But of course he is wrong, as usual :smiley-laughing002:

But the six hour journey, plastic pitch and 30+ heat is still the same.
You forgetting that, or not factoring it into your equations ?
