5 hours lads, we'll get someone in.

 

Even those dirty *, skint to the bone Huns have managed to make a signing today and kept their fans happy. I thought things were on the up for us but no signings will be a massive mistake.

 

They only signed Senderos :smiley-laughing002: * has been finished for years I'd rather get no1 then him

Agree that signing Senderos is no massive coup but at least it keeps their horrible fans happy. We have no excuse for not strengthening our squad more than we have.

Either we're waiting on Turin/Jozo being completed and then doing something or have already decided that whether we do/don't bring someone in, it won't affect us winning the SPFL or where we'll end up in CL Groups - 4th. For me, our midfield is wafer thin in Europe but we get away with it in SPFL, so need someone of class to stop us, potentially, having the most goals against in the CL. Money talks and it's very quiet at the moment.

 

We've blown them out the water this window. Put that rod away..

The huns are up in arm's over the squad they've got, 4 game's in. We're high flying and sorted another problem area only yesterday for fucksake..

 

I'm happy A) with the business we've done earlier in the window and B) with the fact we've qualified for the Champions League and made a 100% start to the domestic campaign.

Signing a midfielder would be great, but one player won't make the difference between qualifying/not qualifying for the Champions League. If it doesn't happen today, it'll happen in January.

We have only signed a right back since we qualified for the CL, which is disappointing. Everyone can clearly see Bitton n McGregor looked out there depth in the qualifers.

 

Bitton was a lot lot better than McGregor ... Well its all relative

 

As much as our midfield will be sorely lacking if we don't sign a CM tonight, I think a lot of people are forgetting that Brendan will still be looking to factor Ajer into the squad too.

He's a wildcard in many ways for us, as we haven't seen him play for the first team yet, but he comes here with a big reputation and apparently a ton of future potential.

 

With the quality of player that Brendan is supposed to be looking at our only hope of getting them is after 11pm when the cash rich teams (stupidly overpayers)in EPL can't force price up and we can get them at reasonable price or on loan as teams want them out the club and some of their wages covered

Have won a big cash bonus and got 2 million for johansen... The money is there what's happening with it ? We have been shafted again! I agree we don't need average players and chasing a big money signing of loan is the key and if we don't get that we are just to accept it ? Surley there is plan b

 

In my opinion its a bit of a brass neck bringing in Rodgers, banking 40mill+ after CL qualification and the only signing we've made since qualifying is for a RB.

Im happy with signings we've made so far but breaking even after landing so much money (especially when we've gone without the CL money for 3 years) is a serious kick to the balls from thr board.
