But seriously, understand your points, absolutely no guarantee that a centre back or striker comes in today and hits the ground running for next week. Do we risk that over continuing to develop the dembele and Griffiths partnership? I would say no - unless its a clear talent.

But perhaps a better risk for a centre back than playing Ambrose again? Though I do like that Brendan resorted to overcoming the Ambrose debate by simply playing less defenders.


Although I wouldn't want to risk to much too soon in regards next week. I would still rather have someone in today to give that option and to also be in a 2 weeks earlier than getting to the same stage for the next round.

Waiting to see what's what is what's (ahh) got us in to a mess like playing 3 rounds.

Agree with the basis of your argument regarding waiting but as we all know most business is done towards the end of the window, unfortunatley that is the way of it unless your willing to just throw cash around. I wouldnt play Ambrose ever again but surely a Lustig Sviatchenko centre half partnership with Janko and Tierney either side should be worth a look.

 

must admit i am worried now.

Don't think #Celtic will be signing anyone before tonight's deadline. Understand they're still hoping to add 2 before window closes.

This is the usual Celtic board for you just hope we get into the champions league and then just got 3 days before the transfer window shuts to sign someone this is not good enough from the board as they are taking a huge gamble.

Its very quiet,unless we are just getting better and the media aint got a clue....but i also doubt anyone will come in before tonight.....not that it would matter much...next game is next week.....but soon to be throwing a new signing into the team.
