Just watched the latest Celtic YouTube training vid, McGregor was in a yellow bib as well so that's the missing player. Can't believe Brown is still being selected an absolute joke seems undroppable but good to see Lustig and thank * Brendan has seen sense and brought Roberts back into the side.

Didn't see Bitton, Ambrose or Izaguirre training who were at Pre season, don't know what's happened to them.

Commons back training again from injury but Bailly, Johansen, Boyata, Simunovic and GMS all out injured.

So team for Wolfsburg by the looks of it.....

I think, there needs to be semblance of clarity about what happened on Tuesday night.

Not that I am making excuses for what should have been an easy away win.

There are many factors in this situation, the early time since the start of preseason the amount of training and games they put in over the ten day period in Slovenia, the lack of fitness levels to cope with it all, new tactics, the heat, the pitch, the determination factor of the home team, the goal struck off and griffs near misses. Change of countries, lack of perceived effort from our players, (the Efe factor),

We played better teams in Slovenia and had some fairly good periods of play and results but in the Maribor game you could see in the first half that lack of ability to break them down it wasn't until he made them seven changes that we started to see more attacks happening. I don't know if that was a combination of the tiring or our better attack minded players coming on but still you could see that last year team emerging.

Now that we are back on home turf and the players are back into there normal life routines of training and family life. I think you will see a better performance rate with the added influence of such a poor result the determination levels will increase massively tomorrow and Wednesday.

With the right team selection and tactics I believe that we will see a completely driven team emerge for these games.

A win here and a decent display would bring some positivity back to the support after that pish midweek.

Im gonny go for 2-2 or the slightly more optimistic 3-1 to the good guys

 

I like 3-5-2 as well but with only one recognised CB fit, we don't have the personnel.. Suppose we could try..
