    Would've been better to have a competitive game after last night's absolute horror show and embarrassment, but we are where we are. Should be a decent crowd and I'd like to see a team in the first hour that will play the return leg..

    Plenty of energy in that side, pace as well, and no standout bottle merchant diddies. Stick Griff in the middle and let Dembélé play close-ish to him, with Paddy with licence to roam..

    That's a good side I reckon, but the chances of us seeing Ajer, Roberts and McCart from the beginning are pretty * slim.

    I hope I'm wrong though.

    It could just be that Rodgers doesn't fancy them, and that's his decision to make.

    What he has to do though is either bring in players who are better, or get the guys he does fancy currently in the squad to do a better job.

    I'd like to see Janko get another chance, there's a player in there but he's been keeping it well hidden recently. McCart looked decent in pre-season, Fasan deserves a chance.

    No way does he fancy Christie (who I still rate by the way) over Roberts. He might fancy Bitton over Ajer, but not for desire and willingness, which over compensates quality, which Ajer has though anyway. Let's no even go there with Efe and Anyone waiting in the wings..

    It's also worth remembering that Ajer is only 18 years old. Maybe Rodgers hasn't seen a level of maturity in him to suggest he's ready for the pressure at the moment?

    Very possible, but I watched him properly when he came on against Maribor and he looked really good, and assured . Bitton doesn't give two *. Hopefully Brendan sees sense quickly and drops these arseholes stealing a wage..

    That's an adventurous team and exactly the kind we should be playing in a friendly to find out what they're made of. Would certainly be a high tempo attacking spirit to them.

    The problem could be that Wednesday's game is now so important he won't risk anything but playing the team that will start and give them a good 70 minutes to get their act together.

    I really hope to see McGregor and Roberts get a game. I just feel really positive about our chances when I see them on the pitch.

    Rodgers needs to use this as a serious rehearsal for next Wed. He needs to start with his inteneded 11 and formation for Saurday. In the second half he should play 11 players not expected to play any part on Wed and then bring on the players he expects to come of the bench on Wed.

    But most importantly if it doesn't look like working he needs to go back to the drawing board.

    Something he failed to do this week. Apart from the forced change of Rogic in for Johansen the team that started last night was the team that started on Saturday. It wasn't good enough then and obviously wasn't good enough last night. So why did he send out the same dud line up.

    Rodgers claims to be a Celtic fan. If he is why doesn't he know that Efe is a liability, why doesn't he know that Forrest Armstrong and Cifti are not game changers. Why doesn't he know that McGreggor and Roberts CAN make things happen.

    Unless we get a cohesive TEAM performance against Wolfsburg I expect to see a very different starting 11 for next Wed. If not Rodgers can * off
