Few people mentioned after the first game,efe bitton and rogic were told they were free to find new clubs, i dont reckon any of the three will start tonight.

ye i understand thats what you think not what you want, he may also think to himself same shape and players, apart from janko, go out and make up for last week, i just think he now has to be ruthless and make the changes needed.

 

Think he'll have been working on a shape since the start of pre-season and won't change it up after one bad result.

I think he should until we have the players to play the way he desires. He's not as stubborn about the formation etc as the likes of Ronny, I just think he'll give it more than one game.

 

ronny persisted with too many players who on too many occasions let him down, you are right its only one game for rodgers but in the last 18 months these players have let the club down on several occasions in games were it mattered, ronny even called them scared but still picked them.

 

thinking about it as you say, any team and formation should be hammering this mob, and im sure we will.

 

Ronny never tried to change what he was doing.

It's one game for Rodgers though, he won't be assessing them by Ronny's standards.

 

last week was worse than anything under ronny lets just see how it goes, imo there will be no bitton ambrose or rogic near the starting line up, hope rodgers agrees.

Why Rogic?

Last week felt like a Bratislava for me, I've effectively scratched it off in my mind :smiley-laughing002:

 

i cant get it out my head, was gutless, i think i just expected to much too soon, was horrible.

 

Bitton is injured anyway so he won't play tonight

 

Rogic never done any worse than anyone else for me, at least when he was on the ball (which was few and far between) he tried to make something happen on an awful pitch. If he plays tonight I'm sure you'll see a better end product.

 

Might be that, this time of the season, difficult conditions, not match fit at all, getting used to a new manager and a new way of playing I was never expecting much. It fell short lf even those expectations but it's one game into Brendan's tenure. Another week and a wee friendly this time of the season is absolutely priceless.

 

If he plays in his right position, he was playing some sort lf weird hybrid central left midfield to behind the striker last week.

Play him behind the striker or not at all.
